Lazy days are over!
'Slack habits and sloppy work are as bad as vandalism.' Proverbs 18:9
Ok so we all like to sit in front of the TV sometimes, or turn off the alarm and go back to sleep. We don't always do things when we should, 'I'll do it later!' we say. Does that make you lazy? The Bible's very clear that being lazy is as bad as vandalizing. Laziness is destructive! So we don't want to fall into that trap! Do we? (The answer is no - you don't!) So let's have a lazy checklist, so we can stop ourselves from hitting the destruct button by falling into the laziness trap.
L is for Lame: Lame excuses that you make up for not doing things!
A is for Always: Always being the one other people have to clean up after!
Z is for ZZzzz: ZZzzz - Are you spending far too many mornings having another lie-in?
Y is for YoYo: YoYo describes your emotions that bounce up and down all the time - and when your down nothing at all gets done because you 'just don't feel like it!'
So does that sound anything like you? Are you L-A-Z-Y? Make a change today or these lazy habits and attitudes will become become a way of life, which means you're headed for a life of destruction. God wants you to value yourself far more than this. He sees your potential. You can do it. From today let's agree lazy days are over!
