HAPPY PILLS

Ok, you may not want to hear about the film Mary Poppins, but stick with it! One of the scenes involves a visit to Uncle Albert, who floats in the air uncontrollably whenever he laughs. Its infectious and soon everyone ends up floating around singing 'I love to laugh' and having tea on the ceiling. It gives a great picture of what God is saying to us today.
Be happy inside, it makes a difference; it gives you a boost that can keep you healthy. Isn't it the best when you have a day where you feel on top of the world, you're confident, you're thinking positive, you even find it easy to be nice to people!?
Well God wants you to have more of these days; they're good for you! But it is easier said than done though isn't it? Life is tough sometimes. So is God asking the impossible? Is there a holy happy pill? Well check out Nehemiah 8:10 'Don't feel bad. The joy of God is your strength!'
God never asks you to do something without helping you achieve it. The more you get to know God, the more you learn to trust Him and the easier it becomes to be happy inside, no matter what is happening. So what you waiting for? Get into God; knowing Him is better than any sort of happy pill!
