From dreams to reality...
'Those who sow in tears will reap with...joy.' Psalm 126:5
Do you want the good news or bad news first? Well whatever, we're going to start with the not-so-good news. When God gives you a dream to fulfil your mates might help you on the way and cheer you on, but to see it through to the end, you'll probably have to water that dream with some tears too.
Friendship can't lower the price tag of personal sacrifice that comes with God-given dreams; sorry, there's no mid-season sale there! But, the better-than-great news is that God promises when you water with your tears, there will be an awesome harvest. Read on from today's verse and you'll see!!
It's important to recognise which part of the dream you're at; is it time to weep, or to reap? If you're in the time for tears, that's not an excuse to listen to emo music all night, turn passive and complain that life's not fair. It's about getting passionate about the stuff God's put on your heart, and crying out to Him to sort it out.
To know when it's time to pick all that lovely juicy fruit, you need to understand that everything in life has a season. Fruit won't grow before its time, and there's no point picking it too early or out of season; it'll just be like a watery strawberry, or a rock hard pear. So get crying, and grow yourself some fruit!
