Ever watched a kid being made to say sorry when they didn't want to? They say the word....but you so know they don't mean it. Or ever been asked to say 'Thank you' to your Aunty Betty for giving you THAT JUMPER for Christmas? It's so false isn't it?
You don't mean it so why say it? Well God doesn't want that sort of relationship with you; where you tell Him stuff but don't mean it. Get this: you're alive because God created you to be here at this moment in time. Everything you're going through, He knows about it; more than that, He's bothered, He's going through it with you and He's never going to leave you, never going to give up on you. He loves you more than you can imagine, He's got your name tattooed on the palm of His hand, never a moment goes by where He's not thinking of you. He loves the sound of your voice, your quirky ways, the way you look, even when you've just got out of bed He thinks you look great! Every time you mess up He'll forgive you, all you have to do is ask.
When you hurt, he hurts. He's so into you! All that, and more, is happening EVERY single day! Now isn't that worth being thankful for. Today IS a day to Enjoy.......and by the way, so is tomorrow...and the next day...and the day after that...
