Down but not out.
'WE ARE PRESSED...BUT NOT...BROKEN.' 2 CORINTHIANS 4:8
Do you ever feel like your head's mashed? You've got yourself in a situation that's stickier than a jam butty? You're stuck in a room with a hundred doors but none of them will open? Don't stress about it; God's got it sorted. You're mates with the Man of miracles. You may feel like everyone's out to get you, but God's never going to abandon you.
It's when you're under pressure that your faith really shines through; and God knows just how much pressure you can deal with. He lets us get to the stage when
a) we've tried all our own ways, and realise maybe we don't always know what's best
b) we're fed up of satan nicking everything that God says is ours
c) we don't let other people's thoughts and opinions control us.
At that point, we're ready to give God permission to take control and sort us out. Faith shows its real power when there are no options left; Joshua wouldn't have needed God to split a river in half if there were bridges all around, would he?
So often, it's only when there's nothing obvious we can do that we start trusting God to do the impossible. Why not shake up your faith today and trusting Him in everything? You may feel under pressure, but with God on your side, you'll get stronger every day.
