Become a soul winner
'...he who wins souls is wise.' Proverbs 11:30
When was the last time you prayed for your friends and family to become Christians? How often do you pray for that compared with how often you pray for things about yourself? Are you getting possessive over God, keeping Him to yourself, stopping others knowing how amazing it is to be a Christian? Everyone needs to know about His love and forgiveness, not just you.
Are you being selfish with God: He's taking care of me, teaching me, helping me, guiding me? Are your prayers all about you? 'God do this for me, help me with this, get me that, I want, I want, gimme, gimme!' What about those people who don't know Him yet?
Your friends and family who don't yet understand who Jesus is and how much they need Him? What about those people who feel so hurt or vulnerable, those who are addicted or abused who don't yet know about a God who can heal and set them free, don't yet know He's their Saviour?
God's bigger than us; He can handle us all. We don't need to be selfish - there's enough of Him to go around. In fact here's a crazy thing: the more you give God away to others, the more of God you'll get back! That's why Proverbs says, 'he who wins souls is wise.' Want more of God? Then be a Soul Winner! Tell anyone and everyone about Him and don't hold back.
