Are you comfy?
'In everything God works for the good of those who love him...because that was his plan.' ROMANS 8:28
Be careful you don't get too comfortable; if you do God might just stir things up! The mother eagle teaches her little ones to fly by making their nest so uncomfortable that they're forced out of it. Next, they're literally pushed off the cliff edge! Can you imagine their thoughts: 'What's going on; I thought you loved meeeeeeeeeeeee!'
Who and where you are at this moment in time is totally within range of God's plan; no matter what comes your way to divert, distract or disable you there's no way you'll ever be out of His sight. In His wisdom He knows that you need the challenge of certain situations to mature you. Yes, even those people who rub you the wrong way are actually making you more like Jesus!
Paul says, God 'understands...and knows what is best for us at all times' (Ephesians 1:8 TLB). So instead of pestering Him to change things, thank Him for the lessons you're learning. If you can't figure out what those lessons are take the advice of the Apostle James: 'If...you need wisdom...ask God' (James 1:5 CEV).
Finally, when you're in a situation that creates more questions than answers, it takes faith to accept that 'in everything God works for the good of those who love him.' But over and over and again potentially wasted experiences will become confidence-builders and learning-accelerators if you let God into them!
