Ants
'ANTS - THEY AREN'T STRONG BUT THEY STORE UP FOOD ALL SUMMER.' PROVERBS 30:25
Ants are incredible little creatures and we can learn loads from how they behave. For example, humans get into to debt by flashing their credit cards and spending money they haven't got, but ants collect food in the summer to see them through the winter.
They're prepared for the change in the season. Things in life change; you'll have tough times and then other times your life might feel like a walk in the park. When things are easy it's tempting to take your foot off the prayer pedal and forget your relationship with God, but don't! God is more than just a 'get out of jail free' card. He isn't there just to bail you out when things get tough.
If you invest in your relationship with God through the good and the bad it's like you dig deep wells in your heart and as you spend time with God he fills them with all that you need to get through any thing life throws at you.
'Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid...the Lord is my strength and my song...with joy you will draw from the wells of salvation.' (Isaiah 12:2-4 NIV) God is your strength, God is your comforter, God fills your heart with gladness and your mind with all of His goodness. What ever the season, draw from Him!
