WHEN A BELIEVER DIES (2)

“God will bring back with [Jesus] the believers who have died.” 1Th 4:14 NLT

Dealing with death separates us into two categories: The hopeless and the hopeful. The hopeless believe they have nothing to look forward to. Their losses feel permanent—the end of life and all that’s good. But the hopeful have everything to look forward to. Their losses are temporary—the beginning of an endless life filled with God’s finest gifts.

God wants you “to know what will happen to the believers who have died so [you] will not grieve like people who have no hope” (v. 13 NLT). Our hope results from knowing these truths:

(1) “We believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again” (v. 14 NLT). All hope begins here: believing in Jesus’ death for our sin and His resurrection to represent us before God.

(2) “Since we believe” this, “we also believe that…Jesus returns.” Faith in Christ’s physical return to earth gives us confidence that “God will bring back with him the believers who have died.” God will raise us from our resting places and bring us back again with Jesus (See Ro 8:11).

At that moment, “He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own” (Php 3:21 NLT). Never again will you be vulnerable to cancer, diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, strokes,

Lou Gehrig’s disease, paralysis, disabilities, weariness, weakness, grief, fear, depression, temptation, addictions, failure, remorse, suicidal thoughts, bipolar disorder, OCD or PTSD or any kind of ailment. You’ll be transformed into the very likeness of Christ. Isn’t that wonderful!

Our flesh is part of this defiled planet ! it returns back to the earth ! We have brand new perfect bodies like His awaiting us in Heaven [New Jerusalem] He Creates new things ! He does not use defiled things to make new things ! our flesh is defiled and dead to God spiritually ! once we dump it ? It gone forever more!

This is How God createws new things !
Heb_11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.
Out of nothing !

Our house from heaven is our NEW BODY He gives us !
2Co_5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:


This reveals it also !
2Co_5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
earthly house is our flesh body!

1Jn_3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.


Meaning there is Nothing we see on earth , that is the way our new body will look !
But we do see how He looks now

Dan_7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment was white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne was like the fiery flame, and his wheels as burning fire.

Rev_1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;

This is a little of how our New Heavenly body will look !
It not made from dirt !


Isa_48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them.
2Co_5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Rev_21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.


It would Not ne new if it was made from the same old junk !


Luk_5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
He really telling us we are new wine and He has New bottles for us to dwell in !

Act_13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell on sleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
Meaning His flesh body was gone forever !

No scripture i know of that says david in heaven / But I know He there and we see they all have there new bodies up there1 They wear robes and sing and talk and raise there hands !

Rev_4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
Rev_4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
Rev_5:5 And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

Rev_5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that liveth for ever and ever.

Rev_7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?

Rev_6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

They already have there bodies!
Mat_19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
Luk_22:30 That ye may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

12 of these elders Must be the 12 disciples ! They have there new bodies !

I would GUESS ! david is one of them and abraham and moses ! It just a guess of course !
