THINK BIG!
'The stream had become a river' Ezekiel 47:5
There's a book in the Bible named after a prophet called Ezekiel who saw visions - he imagined big things with God! His name means 'God strengthens' and Zeke saw pictures from God like a stream which became a river. A tiny trickle of water that was too shallow to even paddle in became a river that you needed to swim in if you wanted to get across! God wants you to be Zeke-like with your thinking and imagination.
Ephesians 3:20 says 'God can do anything, you know - far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!' (TM) This means if we're not thinking or imagining or asking for anything with God, we are cheating ourselves. You need to imagine big things and ask for big things if you want to see God do 'far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!'
Joyce Meyer says, 'I'd rather ask God for a lot and get half of it than ask Him for a little and get all of it!' So start dreaming some wild dreams, imagining God doing massive, unbelievable, impossibly amazing stuff.
Start dreaming about the day you overcome the things you're struggling with: imagine God helping you conquer your addictions and fears. Ask God for what seems impossible: for the crime rate to come down where you live, for all forms of abuse happening in your town to end, for human trafficking worldwide to stop. Think big!
