'It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you' Philippians 3:1
Do you get everything right first time? Be honest, and I bet the answer is no, isn't it? So why do you assume that others should? The people you admire and look up to won't always get it right first (or second, or third, or fourth...) time either!
Paul understood that we all make mistakes, and sometimes we need to hear things loads of times before we eventually get it - which is why he said 'It is no trouble for me to write the same things to you again, and it is a safeguard for you.'(Phil. 3:1 NIV)
He understood that you have to keep hearing and doing it in order to get it right. So, next time you're in church or youth group, and the talk sounds like something familiar, or even when you're reading or listening to Word 4U 2Day and it's an old favourite of a title popping up, instead of switching off and thinking to yourself (or even whispering to your mate next to you with a sigh) 'They're not banging on about that again are they?', why don't you listen, and ask God if there's still something you can learn from it. If not, appreciate that there may be others who need to hear that message again.
Maybe, the reason they're still 'banging on about it' is because God's told them too - and until you get what He's trying to tell you, they'll just keep on going!
