Miracles
'Believe that God exists and that He rewards those who ... seek Him' Hebrews 11:6
In her hit single, 'When You Believe', Whitney Houston sings, 'There can be miracles when you believe; Though hope is frail, it's hard to kill; Who knows what miracles you can achieve; When you believe, somehow you will.'
Pastor Ruth from Uganda loves to tell her life story. She prayed hard and was miraculously healed of AIDS - not just HIV, but full-blown AIDS. 'If God can do it for me, He can do it for others too', she says. Since then, she has seen God heal 54 more people of AIDS - and she's expecting to see more.
Christopher Pylant's parents refused to believe there was no hope for their son who'd been diagnosed with a malignant brain tumour, even when the neurosurgeon Ben Carson told them, 'I'm sorry I couldn't help your son. They never wavered, saying, 'God's going to heal our son. We're standing on His promise.' For three days, little Christopher was comatose, but his eyes were focusing and his physical movements improved.
Following another scan Carson re-operated, and after removing the cancerous mass in layers and cleaning out the crevices, there it was - a healthy brain stem, distorted, but intact! Taking their son home a month later, his parents and the doctor thanked God together for a miracle.
Come to God today and believe He wants to do miracles in your life too: 'Anyone who wants to come to Him must believe that God exists and that He rewards those who sincerely seek Him.'
