Look Out!
'Old men ... dream ... young men will see visions' Joel 2:28
Being a Christian is the best, there's nothing like it, no better way of living. Romans 8:11 says, 'No one who trusts God like this-heart and soul-will ever regret it...' Plus it's available to all - God leaves no one out, not even you. Romans 8:13 says, 'Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.'
Sure, life has its moments but knowing Jesus makes a massive difference to all the tough stuff. Romans 5:3 tells us, 'We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials.' And there's more!
God promises to let us in on His thoughts, give us special knowledge to see what He's up to, lets us in on what He's doing: 'I will pour out my Spirit on every kind of people: Your sons will prophesy, also your daughters. Your old men will dream, your young men will see visions.'
Do you want to be in the know? Then start asking God today to give you His vision for your life. Proverbs 29:18 says, 'If people can't see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what He reveals, they are most blessed.'
Look out! You don't want to fall flat on your face and make a fool of yourself. Look up! Ask God to let you in on the bigger picture of your life. If you don't know where you're going, you'll miss it when you get there. Get in on God's action.
