Handle With Prayer
'My help comes from the Lord' Psalm 121:2
What do you do when you need help? Maybe you go to your closest mates, or your parents, or someone you look up to. And all of that is good, and advisable, but first, try God. It can be a revolutionary idea that changes your circumstance or your view of the circumstance all together!
So next time you need help, remember this: before you run to the phone, run to the Throne!
Next time you need help, remember that God always hears and answers your prayers.
When you call God, you won't hear, 'I'm sorry but God's not available at the moment. Please leave a message after the harp.' You won't hear an engaged tone and you won't get put on hold. You'll never hear an automated voice with a list of dialling options: 'Hello you're through to Heaven, if you're calling about your naughty little problem press 6.
God wants you to call Him every day and tell Him what's on your mind; He's always got time to talk to you.
So, 'don't worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank Him for all He has done. Then you will experience God's peace, which exceeds anything we can understand.' (Phil. 4:6-7 TM). Life is fragile - handle with prayer.
