Fulfil the vision (1)
'Write the vision and make it plain' Habakkuk 2:2
When a dream comes from God and you commit yourself to it, it will be fulfilled. Yes, you'll stumble, be stretched to new limits and maybe even only stagger across the finish line, but you'll make it. I can't tell you when though, sorry! - 'cos everyone's vision is different.
Maybe God's given you a short term vision - something that you'll have achieved in a few weeks or months. If that's the case - fantastic! Your finish line may be just around the corner. But remember - that doesn't mean give yourself a pat on the back and go back to life before the vision, as if that's you 'done and dusted'. It's not over for you yet!
Do you feel like you've achieved what God wanted you to with that vision or dream? OK then, time to start the whole process again, get chatting to God and ask Him what's next for you in the dream stakes - maybe it'll be another short-term thing, or maybe this time it'll be more of a life-long vision. You won't know if you don't ask Him - so get on with it!
Or maybe, you've got a longer-term vision, something that won't happen quite so fast - a bit like Joseph's dream. That could sound a bit scary, and feel like you'll never get there - but don't give up. God will see you through it, to the end, to the fulfilment of your dream - just like He did with Joseph.
