Hey Norm,

Here is hoping that things work out. I have just sent out a prayer to The Lord, asking him that he touches you to ease the pain, that and he makes your wife realize the error of her ways, and that you two work this out. I sincerely hope that God hears my prayer for you.

Dear Norm young!

May the peace of our Lord be with you!!

I too pray for you specially at this situation. i am sure everything would just be fine and sure she will realize her mistake and would come back soon with more love.

May the good Lord bless you in a very special way!!

Praise you Jesus.
Do you have any idea about how she is feeling?
i mean, is she planning on completely leaving you or this was just a mistake and she is sorry?

if it's the 2nd type then you've no problem, you seem like you are willing to forgive her,
but if it's the 1st type then you can simply end your marriage, you can now esp if she doesn't want to get back to you and ... actually you're better off.

try to talk to her and know what she wants.
Dear Brother,

the good thing is you have the heart to forgive her, whether it was a one time mistake your wife did or its a decision she made to continue be with the other guy,

stand still and keep the forgiving heart you have now. God will work out things for your good.

In prayers

Hi Bro
Yes get together with your Pastor ASAP.
I have been there done it and know the pain, hopelessness, and the list is long.
Yet know that our Father is there with you through all of this. He will never leave or forsake you. He will give you the strength to get through this night and the days to follow. He will bring around you those who will help and guide.
I needed to grasp out to my trusted friends and pray with them and many spoke wisdom into my situation. For the Lord will guide their lips to speak truth to you.
I had to take a hard look at myself to see where I had fallen short or could of done better.
It is very important not to let the enemy put you down through this time.
I do a good enough job myself doing that I don't need his help.
I pray rest for you tonight and it can only come divinely. His peace that will surpass all human understanding.
I had to fall back on Him and die to self and seek His guidance in the new day He gives you tommorrow.
Know that we are praying for you and that you are not alone in this fight. You are never alone!! He watches over His sheep and protects them. If they get hurt He is there to pick them up over His shoulders and carry them as long as needed.
So seek Him and hear His voice throughout this whole time. Keep the flesh far away and don't do anything speratic(sp?) always get wise counsel first.
The Lord bless your time with your pastor.
Take care Norm

Dear Brother Norm,
I too have been through this as well. I'm praying for you and your wife. Try not to let your mind wander. You can cause yourself a lot of pain by letting your thoughts drift off into the darkness of the unknowns of what's happening. Remember, Jesus is a friend that sticks closer than a brother. I feel your pain but Jesus KNOWS your pain. I pray the Peace of God to rest upon you. I pray for reconciliation for you and your wife. I pray that the light of the Lord Jesus Christ to shine upon this situation and that all darkness be dispelled. I pray the Love of God comfort you. In Jesus name, AMEN.

Good morning Norm;

It's rare that marital breakups are entirely one-sided. Something changed. Or perhaps, something that should have did not change.

My suggestion would be to pray for wisdom. If it's a whim, she will be back. Don't sulk or feel sorry for yourself; get on with life. You're not dead, you're not helpless, just inconvenienced. What you decide to do about it is ultimately your decision. Most of all, keep a sense of humour and trust that God has His reasons. Phil 4:8.

Brother Norm I'm sorry to hear of your pain. I cannot speak from experience but I can speak from GOD's given wisdom in His Word. You say you have no one to turn to, but Jesus is who you can turn to. He is the Healer of all pains and the greatest Listener above all. Turn to Him and you will receive what seems unfathomable at this time, peace in Jesus Christ. No circumstances no matter who painful and difficult can hinder GOD from giving you peace in times of trouble as these.

I will keep you in prayer. Please try your very best to forgive her and pray for her. It may seem beyond the realm, but it is what GOD has commanded us to do. Forgive each other "77 times" (always forgive).
You know brother, remember that majority have committed adultery against the Lord Jesus too. No pain of ours is greater than what Jesus feels in His heart when His own children betray Him, and the rest is history.

My point is GOD understands your pain of being betrayed and walked away from.

James 4:4-5

4(A) You adulterous people![a] Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God?(B) Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God. 5Or do you suppose it is to no purpose that the Scripture says, "He yearns jealously over the spirit(C) that he has made to dwell in us"?

Jeremiah 2:20

20"For long ago I(A) broke your yoke
and burst your bonds;
but you said,(B) 'I will not serve.'
Yes,(C) on every high hill
and under every green tree
you bowed down(D) like a *****.

Forgiveness is key and prayer is the most powerful gift GOD has granted to us...

Matthew 18:21-23

The Parable of the Unforgiving Servant

21Then Peter came up and said to him, "Lord, how often(A) will my brother sin against me, and I forgive him?(B) As many as seven times?" 22Jesus said to him, "I do not say to you seven times, but seventy times seven.[a] 23"Therefore the kingdom of heaven may be compared to a king who wished(C) to settle accounts with his servants.[b]

you have alot of people who care about you Norm they are correct in what they say. forgiveness is key for you to be healed and set free from the pain. Ask the Holy Spirit to help you with it. Keep your focus on Jesus and don't take it off him. Recently I had trouble with a woman I wanted to date and she rejected me and I fell into a deep conflict in myself over it, it lasted 11 months, one day I had to do something about it.
I begged the Holy Spirit to help me and I forgave her and myself and anyone I could remember who ever wronged me and I was imediatly set free. like being under water and then I broke the surface and took a deep breath of air. Don't fall into this trap. You will know your in it if you find yourself in a loop of memories that you play over and over.

Robert and grace, just want to let you know the thread is four years old and Norman has not logged in for over a year. Just a little heads up that he may not likely respond back to you.

Our culture has accepted adultry and sexual immorality as the norm and has glamourized it and made it comical in movies and TV shows. The truth is adultry and sexual immorality are big ugly sins. I hope Norm got through this ok wherever he is now. Poor guy.
