The reason I believe that only non-believers with mortal bodies that survive the tribulation will enter into the 1000 rule with Christ. First we have Zechariah 14 saying that the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up to worship the king.
Zechariah 14
16. Then all the survivors from the nations that came against Jerusalem will go up year after year to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, and to celebrate the Feast of Tabernacles.
17. And should any of the families of the earth not go up to Jerusalem to worship the King, the LORD of Hosts, then the rain will not fall on them.
So what do we know the bible says about these survivors? The bible says in Revelation 9 verse 20 says “The rest of mankind who were not killed by these plagues
still did not repent” this is a clear indication that the people who are left at the end of tribulation, are non believers that have not repented. We have no reason or any scripture that suggests they are believers.
And furthermore we know that those who are believers that are left at the end are raptured up according to what I believe Mathew 24 says.
Mathew 24
30.At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in heaven,c and all the tribes of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.d
31. And He will send out His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
40. Two men will be in the field: one will be taken and the other left.
41. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and the other left.
So who are the one left not taken, they have to be the unbelievers.
It seems to be clear when Jesus returns he is going to gather all his people that are on earth and heaven, it says he will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other. THen it goes on to say two men will be in a field one will be taken and one will be left, that
seems to say to me that any believers that are left at the time of Jesus return Jesus will gather them to him.
This also leads us to what will happen to these people that are being gathered to Jesus. Well Paul tells us they will be changed in a twinkle of and eye.
1 Corinthians 15
51 Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—
52 in an instant, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.
53 For the perishable must be clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality.
IF this was speaking about a pre trib rapture like many say, the question becomes what is Mathew 24 speaking about when it says one will be taken another left.
As we read the rest of corinthians we can see clearly this is a end-time final event that happens at Jesus Return, “Death is swallowed up” we know there will be plenty death during the tribulation, this is more proof to that it this is speaking of a final event when Jesus
Returns after the tribulation and death is swallowed up. Not before tribulation when there is more death in the world then ever before.
1 Corinthians 15
54 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal with immortality,g then the saying that is written will come to pass: “Death has been swallowed up in victory.”h
55“Where, O Death, is your victory?Where, O Death, is your sting?”
