God, grant me the Serenity to accept the people I
cannot change, the Courage to change the one I
can, and the Wisdom to know it's me.

The next time you feel like GOD can't use you,
just remember...
Noah was a drunk.
Abraham was too old.
Isaac was a daydreamer.
Jacob was a liar.
Leah was ugly.
Joseph was abused.
Moses had a stuttering problem .
Gideon was afraid.
Samson had long hair and was a womanizer.
Rahab was a prostitute.
Jeremiah and Timothy were too young.
David had an affair and was a murderer.
Elijah was suicidal.
Isaiah preached naked.
Jonah ran from God.
Naomi was a widow.
Job went bankrupt.
John the Baptist ate bugs.
Peter denied Christ.
The Disciples fell asleep while praying.
Martha worried about everything .
The Samaritan woman was divorced, more than once.
Zaccheus was too small.
Paul was too religious.
Timothy had an ulcer...AND
Lazarus was dead!

No more excuses now. God can use you to your full
potential.

I used to have one about the 12 disciples, something similar to this.

Naming each one and telling about their inadequacies, not at all being derogatory to them.

Do any of you know it? I'd love to read it again.

aha! Thats amazing, alot of that I didnt even know about those prophets.

Great way to remind everybody that everyone is human! We all make mistakes at some point in our lives, God forgives our sins and forgets them, it is us who put the blame and guilt on ourselves, causing many to think they arent good enough. Just look at those amazing people, who also made mistakes.

I can testify to that.

I was known as the dancer in my church, never attended a class or anything. no training. I just loved God and wanted to use my body to glorify him.

One of the members who worked with BP ( British Petro. ) came to me and asked if I would dance for one of their events. I was shocked and kept asking why me, you know I'm not a pro. He took my disbelief as a yes and left me. I went to my youth leaders everyone seem more excited for me. They were like you can minister to people if you do. I went home crying asking God why he would put me in a situation like that. I knew I was not able to get out of it. With only 3 days I cried and fought with God more than practice.

The day arrive I had my costume and took a sister in Christ with me. I was in more shock when I arrived, it was the United Nation Building I was in front of, everyone boarded a bus. Sitting beside me was a guy from England giving me details of the event. United Nation HIV school Tour, the anxiety rose all I can say was God you picked me and there's nothing I can do, so thy will be done."

My sister and I just prayed. As I got on the stage I saw the crowd staring at me. the music started and it was awesome, God took control from the start to end. I danced to Breathe by Michael w Smith. And I got to share my testimony with the youths , I was 17 at the time. God took me to this
non religious event where I was able to be a light to others.



God can use anyone, don't ask why........ ask when.
