Listen we need to be careful who we follow in our lives here !
Everythinjg we do is for our Lord and his glory ! We do not follow mankind 1 No matter how perfect hey might appear !
So many are following religions , pastors , popes , teachers and books ! They count perfect , None are !
I heard the pastor once where i go , say ? everyone must think like He does or we will not be in unity ! Might sound good ? But it untrue ! He far from perfect! nor does He obey god living word 100% ! i doubt anyone does ?
Also heard Him say once ? If anyone wants to sale there home or car and bring Him the money ? He will accept it ! I came so close to standing up and saying , No one do that , You must take care of your own family first always !
I heard pastors say ? we must give too there church first , no matter how it hurts us or our families ! That so evil !
The point being always , it about our lord and his glory ! It never about us first or where we go to church ! He the Creator and gets all the glory and honor !
We need to stydy the Bible , asking the Spirit of truth too give us the correct understanding Always ! learning from mankind , will only allow us to go as far in truth as that persons gone ! learning from the creator will allow us too go as far as our Lord jesus Christ went !
We give ourselves to Jesus Christ at Salvation and belong to Him 100% if we are truly Born of GOD ! other wise we will never have Salvation ! We Cannot belong to everyone or anyone else in life ! God expects us to do certain things after we have given ourxelves to HIM 1 Still we only Hear and follow HIM ! We can be in a group and work for our LORD in that group ! But still it for Him we are working , We must not forget that !
Col_3:23 And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men;
We Do Not want to make that mistake of , working just for mankind !
If we obey that scripture ? We will always do our best ! even if it pleasing our wives ! We would ask the Lord to bless us to be able to please her in whatever way ? I did that pray and that one thing my ex has never forgotten !
Our lord waits 24/7 for us to but ASK ! nothing He will not teach us or show us about the Heavenly things or the earthly things !
1Jn_2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.
2Co_13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen.
He wants us to ASK ! He will never force us to learn !
Rom_14:17 For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.
1Co_4:20 For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.
