WHEN IS A BELIEVER JUSTIFIED, SAVED?

We receive the grace of God as a gift for our faith in Jesus Christ by which those who repent and believe are saved. God justifies us of past sins for our faith and

then cleanses us of unrighteousness (takes away our sin) as we put off the sins of the flesh by Jesus Christ being formed in us. God declares us not-guilty when we

are forgiven of past sins, but what about the sins of the flesh we might be living in (Romans 1:18-32, 1 Corinthians 6:9-10, Galatians 5:19-21)? God justifies us of past

sins, but when are we justified, declared righteous and saved by being made one Spirit with the Lord? Many Bible teachers/pastors interpret the meaning of

Scripture by personal experience. Many teach, if you place your faith in Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of sins, you HAVE BEEN SAVED. You are saved from a guilty

conscience by being forgiven of past sins, and saved from condemnation by the curse for sins of the Mosaic Law. But what about your sin, the sins of the flesh you

might not have gained the victory over? The Bible says, we are to mortify the deeds of the flesh that we might live (Rom 8:13), or God will circumcise your heart that

you might live (Deuteronomy 30:6), or, the righteous (those who practice righteousness-1 John 3:7) live by faith (Romans 1:17), or, the unrighteous (those who

practice sins of the flesh) shall not inherit the Kingdom of God (1 Corinthians 6:9, Galatians 5:19-21). Those who walk with the Spirit will gain the victory over sin in

their life and be truly saved from sin, justified as righteous by being made one Spirit with the Lord, for He who began a good work in you will complete it. However,

those who continue to float along through life with the sinful ways of the world and believe they were saved because they prayed a sinners prayer or were baptized

one day are not maturing by Christ being formed in them to become an heir of God. Workers of iniquity, I never knew you! We believe there are many who profess to

be Christians but have not truly turned from the sinful ways of the world to become saved and an heir of God. This has nothing to do with "works" to "earn" you

salvation, but is meant to show repentance might be work in "working out your salvation," but are not "works" of "good deeds" so as to gain salvation by earning

the favor of God. .....and the "dead" in Christ (prodigals, non repentant believers and unbelievers) shall rise first.

The moment we acknowledge the Lord Jesus Christ to be the Son of God, and place our trust in His redeeming work as our Saviour, we are sealed by the Holy Spirit of God. We are His workmanship, He works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure, the work that He has begun in us, He will continue to do until the day of Christ. Our standing before God is sure, for it is based on the sacrificial work of Christ, and on the promises of God in Him.

For each of us personally it occurs when we are baptized with the Holy Ghost. However Paul says this in Romans 5:9-10 Much more then having now been JUSTIFIED BY HIS BLOOD,
we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies WE WERE RECONCILED TO GOD THROUGH THE DEATH OF HIS SON, much more having been reconciled
we shall be saved by His life.
Romans 3:24 Being justified FREELY BY HIS GRACE through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus 26- to demonstrate at this present time His righteousness that He might be just and the
JUSTIFIER OF the one who has faith in Jesus Christ.
Since one is saved by grace through faith and faith is the gift of God the above implies that when God gives that faith to each person they then have moved from unjustified to justified
and God then is the justifier of the one who believes for without that faith necessary to believe in the heart there is no salvation yet. But the work was finished at the cross of Christ,
as 9-10 shows it was Jesus' blood and death that bought the justification and reconciliation. One is saved when it is Gods time to save them. EVERY MAN IN HIS OWN ORDER. 1 Co 15:23

This is really excellent, except for a little here and there, when it seems you didn't make it more clear about how we have to confess and repent of our sins...that is important because of the rampant false teaching of repenting meaning just believe. In addition, at the end of your post, you show the fear in how men are taught about not to say you obeyed in any way to get saved. The 'not of works' Paul is speaking about are the purification works for which circumcision in the flesh is the sign. We have to believe and do right by repenting of our sins to get saved. We have to obey Jesus to get saved and to stay saved and to fear it makes a works salvation and disqualifies us is hindering people from getting saved and even wasting time and ruining lives until they figure it out. It also makes vipers calling themselves Christians.

See that, you have the member complete wanting to make sure you understand that we just have to believe.
No, complete, we have to actually repent of our sins.
I believed in Jesus my whole life and wasn't saved until I repented of my sins.

We are justified by Jesus' blood and not the blood of animals ANYMORE. That was the way the people USED to be justified.

The enemies getting saved by his blood are the Gentiles who were enemies because they were disobedient to God and did NOT get circumcised and come into the covenant with God and do the purification works where they had to be atoned for by the blood of animals.

Jesus saved them through their repentance of their sins to him and their belief that Jesus' blood purifies them---it means Jesus didn't make them get circumcised first before he would save them.

We still have to obey God and repent of our sins, we just don't have to have a priest sacrifice a lamb twice a day for us anymore, and we don't have to bring our own sacrifices and take a bath first and adhere to a special diet.

Forgive me, for it is only right that I should have read what you had to say on the subject before entering my post. I have now read your OP, and there are several points which I would like to respond to, but I only have time for one at the moment, so, in relation to your expressed belief that it is necessary that a sinner turn from his worldly sinful ways to become saved (underlined above) I would just like to say:-

'And he (Abraham) believed in the LORD;
and He counted it to him for righteousness.'
(Gen 15:6 )

Abraham, though he and his wife were passed childbearing age, had been told by God that he would have a son to be his heir: and he, 'staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God .' (Romans 4:20) . It was for this faith that the words 'And he believed in the Lord, and he counted it to him for righteousness' was said in Genesis 15:6.

Today, when a sinner hears the gospel of the grace of God, concerning His Son the Lord Jesus Christ, believes what he hears, like Abraham: and places His trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to forgive Him for his sins, and to cleanse him from all unrighteousness, then He is declared righteous: for the righteousness of God is imputed to him. Like Abraham in the flesh who was dead as regards childbearing: that sinner (through the weakness of the flesh) may be dead to any prospect of ceasing, of his own volition, to sin; yet God, by His grace, saves Him on the basis of the blood of His only Begotten Son: Who took the sinners guilt and bore it to Calvary, dying in His stead; so that he may be declared, 'Not Guilty'; and receive the promise of life in Christ Jesus.

God works in us, to conform us to the image of His Son, it is an ongoing work: for we are His workmanship: but the moment a sinner is saved by grace, he is, before God, in Christ, spotless and without blame; because He is in Christ (1 Corinthians 1:30); and covered with His righteousness. He stands clean before His Lord.

Christ came into the world to save His people from their sins. To be forgiven of our sins (trespasses/transgressions) saves us from a guilty conscience, but we are not saved from the sin, the iniquity, until God takes it away by cleansing us of it. God justifies us of past sins, and justifies us of our trespasses when we sin, but He does not declare us righteous and give us His righteousness by making us one with His Spirit until we have put off the sins of the flesh that might be part of our life by repenting and confessing our sins. The thief, liar, gambler, alcoholic, drug addict, etc, are not saved from those vices just because they profess to believe/accept Jesus Christ as Lord. If they truly believe and confess their sins, they are forgiven of any such trespasses committed, but God does not declare them to be righteous if those vices are yet part of their lifestyle. God forgives us of our offenses/sin committed, and then works with us to regenerate us by cleansing us of our unrighteousness/sin/iniquity as we continue to confess and turn from those weaknesses/sins. In time, as we continue to repent and confess our sins/trespasses, He will take them away as we "die" to our old man and Christ is formed within to live a pure holy life. When we overcome those areas of sin in our life by His cleansing and our repenting of them, He will declare us righteous and we will be justified/saved/as a risen member in Christ Jesus by being quickened together with His Holy Spirit, so that sinner no longer lives, but has become one with the Spirit of the Lord in His death and raised from the dead; born of the Spirit, saved and sealed as a child of God. How soon this happens in the life of the believer, depends upon what sincerity the sinner puts into repenting and following as the Spirit leads, and how much sin is in their life. If the believer is young and untainted by the world, even as without sin, the young believer might be saved and sealed as a child of God the moment they profess faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. However, if the sinner has been practicing particular sin for several years, so that they are ingrained into them, it could take months, even years to cleanse them of those sins stained into them. In time, God will bring it to pass, if they continue to believe, follow, and confess/repent of their trespasses/sins/transgresses/offenses.
