When I Remember

I remember,
When terror beseiged me
And i turned cold within
I remembered you promised.
Loo, i will be with you.
I will never leave you nor forsake.
Then i was strengthened...
And i knew my help was come.

A time, i was all alone
I looked for someone,
Someone to smile with,
Someone to give me hope,
And i remember you said
My peace i give to you, and
I keep in perfect peace those i love...
I knew you were with me

I remember,
When i was hurting.
Weighed down by infirmity
Riddled by pain and inequity.
I remember you said
I am the lord your God,who forgives all 'ur inequities
And heals your diseases...
I was comforted that you care.

I remember
The taunts from scoffers
Those without knowledge
Who parade logic, and
Doubters of my faith.
And i remember you said
Blessed are you if reviled for mysake,
Great is your reward in heaven.
And i was sure to recieve it

Lord when i remember
All that you ever spoke,
What you are doing and have done
I can stand against the storm
And tread upon the lions
Because every single promise you made
You swore by your name
And you guarded it by your faithfulness.
