There are shadows behind my ways
Your face I could hardly see even as I seek
My very being easily got discouraged
Even as I walk in the way to follow You
Stumbling blocks are before me blocking my way to You
As I try to stand the more I got a blue
Until the very man can no longer pursue
:sad-animated:The hope within me now covered with dismay
For the battle is too hard to continue is tiring
But more troubles came as I try quitting
The more I become weary so I continued the battle
Many wounds I received as the battle goes on
I am helpless and tired, can no longer stand
But there's no way of escape but to win the battle
Helpless I may be but on Your salvation I will wait
:heart2:Now I come to see the power of the Cross
As I come to stumble, the fall overcome by the Cross
As I try to quit, I remember the Cross
If I gain victory, it's because of the Cross.
THANK YOU LORD.
"May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I in the world" Galatians 6:14
"When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your sinful nature, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins, having canceled the written code, with its regulations, that was against us and that stood opposed to us; he took it away, nailing it to the cross. And having disarmed the powers and authorities, he made public spectacle of them, triumphing over them by the cross." Colossians 2:13-15
"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before Him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful men, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart." Hebrews 12:2-3
