Hi Bobby! Having your life completely changed is impossible with man yet through God's extraordinary measures He made it really simple for us. Why? Becuase He loves us and wants us to walk close to His heart. It is only in His strength that anything of eternal concequence can happen.
Many search long and hard believing it to be complex but lets see what God says about it in His Word (His love letter to us).
The problem- our sinful fleshly nature. This begin when the first man Adam decided to follow his own will instead of that of His heavenly Father. Man has been doing this ever since and this "self determined" existence is the source of all sin and corruption.
Rom 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;
Isa 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousness are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
The answer- God sent His own Son to pay the price for our sins. All those who would hear His call can receive the very righteousness of Jesus Christ as He has taken the heavy price of their own sin. When one comes to Christ realizing their need for a Savior , realizing that He died for their personal sin and made a way for them to come to the Holy Father that loves them; then and only then they receive a new inner life from God. God works from the inside out transforming them daily as they begin to realize what He has done for them and just how awesomely the power of God is working that is inside of them. He is ever drawing, transforming, empowering and giving them revelations in His glory and His will for their lives.
Act 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Act 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Rom 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Rom 10:10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
So my friend, it is when we come to the end of ourselves, realizing our need for a Savior; it is when we surrender our lives, our hearts and receive this gift of life as our own that the most incredible journey begins.

Heavenly Father, I realize that I have sinned and fallen short of Your glory. I understand that no sin can stand in Your Holy presence. I receive the death that Jesus died on the cross to pay for my sin as my own. likewise I receive that very same Holy Spirit that raised Him for the dead. My old life is finished, I am made into a new creation in Christ. Jesus be my Lord and Savior.
Thank You Father for loving me that much. I receive these things by faith and now I am Your son, a child of God born again to new life.
Thank you Father for I now know that I receive these things in Jesus wonderful Name, amen.
