Listen to your stories?
Not to what is boring,
But to what’s abhorring?
See, see, see, what’s before your eyes?
Will you now deny?
Truthers now decry?
On the lies rely?
Eat, eat, eat, what’s your belly ache?
You consume the gospel?
Or, to it be hostile,
For it not rings your bell?
Think, think, think, what fills up your mind?
Word of God embracing?
Or the world you’re tasting?
And your mind your wasting?
Feel, feel, feel, where are your emotions?
Ruining devotions?
Causing much commotion?
Sink to a love-potion?
What does God have for us?
That we would adore Him,
Follow in His footsteps,
Obey His commandments.
