What would it take to make you believe
Jesus hung on the cross, so we could go free
from sins that we own
He took them from us and made them His own
He bore them on Calvary He hung there in shame
with those sins of our own
Twas us the real sinner, not His shame, our own.
Why do it, we ask Him? We hear His reply
I did it cause I love you,
that's why I did die
He's risen, you know, our sin is all paid
But to repay the debt
Believe and be saved.
Note:- we can never repay the debt we owe to Jesus for what He did for us, but a down payment would be a start....BELIEVE AND BE SAVED.
