Personally I have no interest in the celestial element of the kingdom of Heaven. To
me, it's a foreign country. I want to stay right here on earth during Messiah's 1000
year administration and visit all the places to which I have never gone, and catch
up on all the things I've never done.
The new cosmos won't be constructed till after Messiah's millennial rein on this
corrupt earth is over, and the great white throne event wraps. Which is fine with
me 'cause there's a lot left to see and do that I won't get around to in this life. I
plan on making very good use of those thousand years to tour ever square inch of
this planet-- on land and sea.
Can you just imagine having free rein of this planet with an immortal body and
perpetual youth, and no fear of war, violence, poisonous snakes, toxic insects, or
wild animals!? I can hardly wait. One of the first things I want to do in Messiah's
kingdom is hike the triple crown: the Pacific Coast Trail, The Continental Divide
Trail, and the Appalachian Trail. Yeah, Cirque of the Towers here I come!!!
People hike the big trails for a variety of personal reasons. Some march thru like
soldiers to get it done and chalked up, while other's take their time and savor every
minute of the adventure-- all the sights, sounds, smells, and wild things that they
encounter along the way: even the dirt, the dust, the bugs, the hazards, and the
discomforts. They are in no hurry to get done because if they hurry, they might
miss something.
YouTube adventurer Jennifer Mabus (a.k.a. Starburst) is one of those. She even
stopped for a while to watch two small lizards battle out a territorial dispute. Hiker
trash passing by thought she was nuts and wasting time; but Jennifer was in
Nirvana, so to speak.
Well; that's me. I want the whole nine yards. Charging ahead to the end of one of
those wonderful trails is just not my idea of a heavenly good time.
• Ps 16:11 . . You will make known to me the path of life; in Your presence is
fullness of joy; in Your right hand there are pleasures forever.

From what I have read and can discern, is that those saints left behind to die will have their spirits with the Lord to await for their resurrection after the great tribulation, but it is not an immortal body. It is a glorified terrestrial body where those saints are in no danger of the second death, but the generations following them can be. Thus the power of the first death is over those resurrected saints after the great tribulation, meaning physical death is possible and probably why they have to eat from the tree of life when they visit New Jerusalem on earth.
Revelation 20:1And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.
2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,
3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.
4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.
5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.
6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.
There is no point only mentioning the second death unless the first death would still have power over them. If the first death had no power over them, then neither the second death, but yet it is written by omission that the first death would still have power over them.
Now after Satan's last rebellion which will last for a small season, & the devil is cast into the lake of fire, then the White Throne Judgment shall commence and then after death and hell is cast into the lake of fire, then death is swallowed up in victory and those that were raised after the great tribulation can die no more then. That is probably how your dream would become a reality but there is a bad side to being left behind and that would be for unrepentant iniquity.
Stripes will be given for not being ready nor willing to go and depending where the left behind saint is at on earth because the western hemisphere will be burned up as one third of the earth will be gone after the rapture event..
Luke 12:40 Be ye therefore ready also: for the Son of man cometh at an hour when ye think not.
41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speakest thou this parable unto us, or even to all?
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
44 Of a truth I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he hath.
45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming; and shall begin to beat the menservants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;
46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looketh not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in sunder, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.
47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?
Revelation 8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the inhabiters of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
The Father is giving those stripes.
Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.
4 Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
5 And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
7 If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.
9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
Sounds painful to be left behind. That is why I look to Jesus to help me lay aside every weight & sin daily to walk in the light in fellowship with the Father & the Son to be found abiding in Him & His words & to be willing to go too.
I want the first inheritance where we shall be like the angels that never die and not given in marriage.
Luke 20:34 And Jesus answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:
35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:
36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.
We can explore the new heaven and the new earth by getting there faster and have more time for fun and everything plus we will never sin against the Lord ever again for why physical death cannot touch us.
So I desire the first inheritance. We may have a mansion in the House of God in that City of God, but we are not limited to that mansion since we will be like the angels. Imagine flying... or appearing at a place in a blink of an eye.
