Then Zacchaeus stood and said to the Lord, "Look, Lord, I give half of my goods to the poor; and if I have taken anything from anyone by false accusation, I restore fourfold." And Jesus said to him, "Today salvation has come to this house, because he also is a son of Abraham; Luke 19:8-9 NKJV

Zaahaeus, an unscrupulous tax collector, didn’t just admit his wrongdoing or change his ways. He also vowed to pay back everyone he had cheated, making things right with people who had suffered most from his dishonesty. His faith in Jesus so greatly prompted this turnaround that Jesus immediately recognized how deeply Zacchaeus had adopted the Gospel message.

What do you need to make right today? There may be a relationship you’ve neglected, a friend you’ve failed to help, or a bad habit you need to leave behind. Whatever it is, God’s mercy and grace are present for you…if you make a move toward them. Mercy doesn’t just change your life on its own. Faith must be joined with action.

Salvation belongs to your house today when you follow up your faith with the choices you make. There is no other way to demonstrate your faith. One simple choice at a time to follow God’s commands will make your faith come alive.

Prayer: Jesus, help me to see the ways I can make my failures right.

Loving your devotionals
For some reason an unclean spirit got to me last week and my worldly self bought a pack of cigarettes to deal with the stress
3 days went by and out of the blue after praying a message came to me
FLUSH IT”
I didn’t have to be told twice, I immediately grabbed my pack turned on the sink and filled the pack with water and trashed it

Haven’t had a nightmare since no attacks at all and no cravings
The lord took that away from me, so your devotional is something I can relate to
Ty for that
SHALOM
