What must happen before the end times come ?

I dont think anything else must happen, the man of sin I believe has been manifested 2 Thess 2:1-8

Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him,

2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.

3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition;

4 Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

5 Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things?

6 And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time.

7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming:

The Gospel of the Kingdom is being preached as a witness Matt 24:14
14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

1. Transgression reaches to its fullness (Dan. 8:23)
2. Israel collectively finally acknowledges Yeshua as the Lord and Savior (Matt. 23:37-39)
3. Great apostasy (2 Thess. 2:3)

  • A Falling Away. - "the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, through the insincerity of liars whose consciences are seared” (1 Timothy 4:1-2).
  • Increase of Lawlessness - Paul also wrote that “the mystery of lawlessness is already at work. Only he who now restrains it will do so until he is out of the way. And then the lawless one will be revealed, whom the Lord Jesus will kill with the breath of his mouth and bring to nothing by the appearance of his coming” (2 Thessalonians 2:7-8).
  • Love many growing cold. "because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold” (Matthew 24:13). Paul adds that “people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God” (2 Timothy 3:2-4).
  • Persecution - Duh. It's everywhere and has been ongoing for a long time.
  • Gospel Preached Worldwide - In the Olivet Prophecy, Jesus said about the end times that “this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14).
  • Calling Evil Good - Isaiah the Prophet sent a warning from God and said, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter” (Isaiah 5:20).
  • Wars and rumors of wars. Jesus warned that in the last days, “you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet. For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are but the beginning of the birth pains” (Matt 24:6-8).
  • Growing violence. Jesus said that one of the signs leading up to His second coming would be like “the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man” (Matt 24:37), “For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark” (Matt 24:38).
but just as in the days of Noah, “The Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every intention of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually” (Gen 6:5).
No one will know the hour or the day so we must prepare, every day as if it could be any minute.

That was a cultural reference of the Feast of Trumpets, it didn’t mean Jesus will return at any random time. It is written in Isaiah 61:2 that it would be “the acceptable year to the Lord” and the “day of vengeance”. Of course we still don’t know which year and day, but God knows. The purpose of this is for our spiritual training, we ought to have a sense of urgency and present ourselves as a living sacrifice everyday, otherwise, EVEN IF WE DID KNOW THE DAY AND THE HOUR, we would dismiss that as “conspiracy theory”, ignore these signs of time and sleep on the job. Jesus was preaching more about this kind of complacent attitude than the real timing of his return, it’s so disappointing that nobody gets it.

So?
What I stated stands. If only God knows no matter how the statement is worded nothing changes.

Yes, but that debunks the dispensationalist "imminent return" doctrine. All these birth pangs must take place first, and those are birth pangs, not the final seven bowls of wrath.

It doesn't debunk anything.
Let me clarify. There is no hour/minute/day year of "The End Times". If you look back at the ever increasing evil and bad things then "The End Times" have been going on for some time.
There are key events when that will stand out.
The end times can and does in fact include these "birth pangs" as you put it but until these events happen we are not in the End of End Times.

Yes there is a specific time for the second coming, we don’t know because the Little Horn has changed the time and law. By no means did Jesus want us to be ignorant about the timing. On the contrary, we ought to wisely discern all these signs while the whole world is being ignorant about it.

And of course we’re not in the end of end times, cause if we were, we’d be dead and gone to heaven already.
