1. What is the statement of faith?

2. When did the Christianity begin?

3. If there were 12 apostles why was Paul chosen?

There are many “gospels”, Which one are you preferring to, the one that pleases mankind ?

6I marvel that ye are so soon removed from him that called you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel: 7Which is not another; but there be some that trouble you, and would pervert the gospel of Christ. 8But though we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel unto you than that which we have preached unto you, let him be accursed. 9As we said before, so say I now again, If any man preach any other gospel unto you than that ye have received, let him be accursed.
10For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatian 1:6-10).❤️

“When did Christianity start” The day the word “Christians” was coin by pagans in Antioch. It meant a group of “cannibals, atheists, who commits incest, drinker of blood , followers of that Jesus who claims to the son of God” they were “Christ like”. That is how we got the term:! “Christians “ and so the beginning of Christianity”. “ Constantine change the tide, when he became the “Holy Roman Emperor” and Emperor “Licinius”. := Edict of Milan and also Roman Emperor Galerius := Edit of Ttoleration. I might have it kinda mix up, (313 CE). Date too. “Christianity is kinda messy” especially the term”. I would myself prefer the terms which Jesus used: “ my Congregation” or “The People of “The WAY”. Hey, what can I really say! There are over “33,000” plus “Christian” denomination s” in the world! They all have a different doctrine. “Behold”. There you have........”Christianity 101”. And I am quite sure you have your definition too.❤️

Next question: Why was Paul chosen? Easy: Because GOD wanted him, because, he belongs to GOD, just like GOD owns the Sun and they Moon. And they operate the way he wants them to operate. What ever GOD wants , HE gets! There is nothing , can stay HIS HANDS! For He is the Potter and we are the clay! “Believeth” thou this”?❤️

Concern Apostle Paul: again for clarity.

(Romans 9:19-20).

20But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? “Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, ‘Why did you make me like this?’ ” h 21Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for special purposes and some for common use?

I’m on a roll, I might as well, address question number 1.
May I ask, which statement of faith you are referring to “? “Westminster confession of Faith” , “Baptist confession of faith”, “Apostolic confession of faith”........ etc. you understand.❤

Since I’m am of “The Reformed” Faith” [Calvinist] here is mine.

The Brief Statement of Faith is a statement of faith adopted by the Presbyterian Church (USA) in 1991 as part of its Book of Confessions. ... Although Reformed in its origins, the preface to the statement explicitly notes its universal intention: "This statement therefore intends to confess the catholic faith."❤️ Take note please: that word is “Catholic” not Roman Catholic, which means “Universal”.❤️

The Gospel by which a person is saved.

1 Corinthians 15:1-4 -- that Jesus Christ is the Son of God -- that He died on the cross and rose again bodily on the 3rd day as Scripture states.

Romans 10:9 - 10. Belief in a person's heart and confession unto God.

The TalkJesus statement of faith is here Statement of Faith There are many others, but they largely cover the same ground: who is God, what is man, and how is God working his purposes out through Jesus Christ.

The simplest statement of the gospel is "Jesus is Lord". The Greek word translated gospel or good news is "evangelion". It's a royal word, used for pronouncements from or about the king or the emperor. Think of the English word, "Herald", which gets close.

Any of the 33,000 denominations that submit to Jesus as Lord and saviour in expectation of his return are Christian, despite doctrinal differences between them. Most denominations don't differ hugely in doctrine, the differences tend to be in understanding of how to administer church structure, authority and power.

I do believe, the post ask a question. The question is: “”what is the gospel”! The word “gospel” has so change like many of other words when pertaining to “Holy Scripture” “no one here cannot come to agreement as one even in Christ Jesus.” The word “gospel” in “Holy Scripture” when it was written has one and only one meaning!
The word gospel is derived from the Anglo-Saxon term god-spell, meaning “good story,” a rendering of the Latin evangelium and the Greek euangelion, meaning “good news” or “good telling.”
If you don’t believe it go read your Bible in context everywhere you see the word “gospel” replace it with either one of the words above describing the meaning of gospel. Maybe we can agree on “A” word for once! It is a shame, Christianity cannot even Agree on the word “Jesus”.❤️

For me the answer to question number 1 Is John 3:16-18
The answer to question number 2 was the day that the first person actually started to follow Jesus Christ. So no date answer.
The answer to question 3 I defer to Ploughboys answer.

I also have noticed that the word GOSPEL has been used 5 different ways in the Bible
1) Gospel of GOD
2) Gospel of Jesus Christ or (His Son)
3) Gospel of the Kingdom of God
4) Gospel of the GRACE of God
5) Gospel of peace.

So we have a proclamation of GOOD NEWS concerning GODS KINGDOM, HIS SON JESUS CHRIST, UNMERITED FAVOR, AND PEACE. Which if we put them all together
gives us good news that Gods unmerited grace is given so that one can enter into the Kingdom of God by Faith in his Son which should bring us peace as the spirit of God is always with us from the moment he indwells us. He never leaves as we are joined forever.

If this was a test i think I passed :)!!!

It's not really a matter of passing a test -- it Is The matter of where a person is going to spend eternity.

Christianity was Able to start when Jesus Christ rose bodily from the dead. His bodily resurrection Proved that He really was the Son of God. And THAT is what really matters. And where we place Our Personal faith is what matters to each individual person.

If you don't know scriptures, How will you be about to discern whether you are following as a true believer or follow a cult.

Matthew 7:21-23 New King James Version (NKJV)

21 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven.

22 Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’

23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’

His will is to know the what He wrote.

I wouldn't lead you because I'm not God. Jesus said no man can come to the Son except the Father call him. I try to stay out of the way unless I hear him say to do whatever it is he wants me to do. No disrespect intended.

But that wasn't where I was going with that. I meant what was the Spiritual birth process?

Okay -- what spiritual birth process did You go through.

Jesus told Nicodemus that he had to be 'born again' in John 3. Nicodemus only understood the physical birth process. Jesus Christ told him being born physically came 1st in order for a person to be here in the first place.

After That -- a person needs to be born spiritually in order to have eternal life -- get the inner peace that comes With salvation.

So going to 1 Corinthians 15:1-3 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel........by which you are saved......that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures, "

And Then you'd go to Romans 5:8 "But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us."
And then to Romans 10:9-10 "that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. vs 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

vs 13 "For 'whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved."

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God, Not of works, lest anyone should boast,"

It's wonderful and simple.

BTW -- when a person is experiencing conviction -- it is the Holy Spirit 'talking' to them and God wants to have fellowship with us. He wants relationship with us or He wouldn't have provided for our personal salvation.

Lots of people have a Bible in their homes -- it's a matter of Reading it. A system that does Not acknowledge Jesus Christ as being the Son of God is a false belief system.

So -- find a Bible -- probably a NKJ and start reading it from the beginning of Old Testament and beginning of the New Testament. A few chapter every day. Include a Psalm and Proverb as well. That is how a person gets familiar with their Bible.

Rom 1:20 "For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived by the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity; that they may be without excuse:"
Ecc 11:5 " As thou knowest not what is the way of the spirit, nor how the bones do grow in the womb of her that is with child: even so thou knowest not the works of God who maketh all."
John 12:24 " Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone: but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit."
1 Co 6:17 " But he that is JOINED unto the Lord is ONE SPIRIT."
John 10:30 "I and my Father are ONE." ??? Thought you might like these last 2 verses.
In our earthly journey, one day God draws you in and allows you to see what he has done in sending his Son into the world, and what the Son accomplished by his sacrifice for our sin. But he also shows us that it is the Son who was given life within himself and that if any man would have that life within himself also it had to come from his Son. The Father gave the only begotten Son the authority or ability(as you wish) to give of that life to each human in his proper order. This is what is termed the baptism in the Holy Ghost. It is the only Baptism that matters as it is written "if ye have not the spirit then ye are none of his" I believe in reading our Bibles we get the general idea that when the Holy Ghost infills a believer it is indeed a dramatic experience for them. Yes? This is the moment that your feminine spirit is joined unto the Son of Gods spirit, and a New creature has been conceived. Obviously this is not physical it is spiritual. Exactly what happened to Jesus at Jordan when he was infused with life from his Father. I quoted the above verses to set the stage for the understanding as to the conception process.
Psalms 34:2 " MY soul shall make HER boast in the Lord: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad" these are Davids words, a man that says his soul is feminine! Go figure.
To continue the corn of wheat that fell into the ground and died was Jesus Christ. The much fruit that he bringeth forth are those whom he joins his spirit with. Now just as a natural child has a gestational period in the womb of its mother so does the New creature that resides in it's womb of our natural bodies. Can't say how long that period is as it seems to be different according to Gods plan for each New born Son. As the newly formed spiritual Son of God is forming in the body he grows in understanding the things of his Father and starts to look more like his Father day by day. But within this womb of a natural body God has provided a fierce enemy for the growing Son within to contend with called the carnal mind which is his adversary. It is this enemy of the Son that cannot stand the thought of losing control over the body it once or maybe still has. It is it's own God. As the child matures it begins to take territory from the carnal mind by shutting down the bodies ability to sin a little bit at a time until he has overtaken that mind and the mind of his life giver has formed. Namely Jesus Christ. At some point during this process the spiritual child is introduced to the Father for correction, discipline but in a very loving way not harmful to the child because it is still a child. Just as a doting Mother or Father would the natural child. They want the child to grow and be strong and to succeed in life, just as God wants the same for his spiritual Sons. Once that childs obedience to the Father has been perfected he will be born out from the body, can't say thats happened yet for any believer as we sleep after death until the gathering occurs at the opening of the 6th seal. This may be a bit much to digest but it is the truth.

Romans 8:19 "For the earnest expectation of the creature(creation) waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God"

Isaiah 45:11 "Thus saith the Lord, The Holy One of Israel, and his Maker, ask me of things to come concerning my sons, and concerning the work of my hands COMMAND YE ME."

We are called the BRIDE OF CHRIST for a reason.

"The spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God."
"Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be."
"For I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you a chaste virgin to Christ."
" Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? Saith the Lord: shall I cause to bring forth and shut the womb?"
"Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, LIKE A WOMAN IN TRAVAIL."
" For I have heard a voice, as of a woman in travail, and the anguish of her that bringeth forth her FIRST CHILD, the voice of the daughter of Zion, that bewaileth herself, that spreadeth her hands , saying Woe is me now! For my soul is wearied because of murderers."
" I have likened the daughter of Zion to a comely and delicate WOMAN."
" Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Zion: for, lo, I come, and I will dwell in the midst of thee, saith the Lord."

Take away from this what you will.
