Salvation is a NEW BIRTH! We are given a new Spirit !It made in the image of JESUS CHRIST! We have His mind type and nature at Salvation 1But like any new birth we are babies in our new creature! the Bible calls the new spirit ! New creature , inner man , new man , inward man and Hidden man ! It cannot sin , becuse it has the same type mind as our LORD JESUS !
Rom 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Gal_4:19 My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you,
Eph_4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
we are All a spirit being dwelling a Short time in sin filled earthly bodies! Which we leave at it death !
1Jn_3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
1Jn_5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.
GOD wanted a Family made like our LORD JESUS to Share His vast kingdom with !
That Why HE says for us too walk in our spirit , then we will not full fill the lust of our flesh !
Our new spirit hates sin ! It just like our LORD JESUS . It only wants to please God !
1Jn_3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
We get New bodies at home [New jerusalem ] Like HIS ! We see His in daniel and Revelations !
It does not appear Now! Because Nothing we see on earth is How we will look !
Salvation is simple ! We just accept His gospel as truth and HIM from our heart [Spirit] as LORD !
this is our LORDS GOSPEL!
1Co 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Co 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
1Pe_2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:
Not a play on words !We truly are new Born Babies!
Heb_5:12 For when for the time ye ought to be teachers, ye have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong meat.
Heb_5:13 For every one that useth milk is unskilful in the word of righteousness: for he is a babe.
1Co_3:2 I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.
It starts a growing Process at salvation ! some grow quickly?: some hardly grow at all?
Heb_2:11 For both he that sanctifieth and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
Because we are Born of the SEED of GOD!
This is the Seed !
1Pe_1:23 Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.
Joh 3:5 Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Joh 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
Joh 3:7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.
water is our first birth from our mothers ! Spirit is our birth from GOD !
This is a little of what takes place at salvation !
Eze_11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
Eze_18:31 Cast away from you all your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will ye die, O house of Israel?
Eze_36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.
Rev_3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
