What Garments Do You Wear?
by Gary C. Michael March 31, 2006
Are you anything like Jesus?
Is there tender- loving care?
Do you dress like Jesus?
What garments do you wear?
Do you have compassion for those in need?
Or is your character full of greed?
When others hurt, can you feel the pain?
Or do you think about what you might gain?
Are you anything like the lord above?
Are you planning to see him in love?
Have you been preparing to meet him in the air?
What garments do you wear?
Are you humble, meek and mild?
Do you come to him like a child?
Are you preparing to be wheat or tare?
It’s important to know what garments you wear.
Time is short and running out.
No rocket scientist needs to figure this out.
Christ will soon appear in the air
and he will know what garments you wear.
Now is the washing and ironing time,
for putting away all spiritual crime.
Spots must be found and taken out.
Don’t look to God, then fuss and pout.
He’ll point to things that need to change,
then wait for permission to rearrange.
He will take it as far as he can,
as long as you don’t release his hand.
His intentions are always true and fair.
He gives you a choice of which garments you wear.
