The Old Testament Law commanded the Israelites not to engage in interracial marriage (Deuteronomy 7:3-4). However, the reason for this was not primarily racial in nature. Rather, it was religious. The reason God commanded against interracial marriage was that people of other races were idolaters and worshippers of false gods. The Israelites would be led astray from God if they intermarried with idol worshippers, pagans, or heathens. A similar principle is laid out in the New Testament, but at a much different level: “Do not be yoked together with unbelievers. For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness?” (2 Corinthians 6:14). Just as the Israelites (believers in the one true God) were commanded not to marry idolaters, so Christians (believers in the one true God) are commanded not to marry unbelievers. To answer this question specifically, no, the Bible does not say that interracial marriage is wrong.

I believe it says somewhere in bible that people were able to join israel and become under the coveant of God to keep all the israeli law.
So suposedly the reason not to marry from other nations was that only israel was under God's coveant and law.

The reason that Israel was not to marry outsider of Israel wasn't a race issue, but a Jew vs. Pagan issue. Throughout the entire Old Testament we see places where God does things to keep Israel pure and clean. The law is one of the many things put in place to do this, although it also had other reason for being there. This kept Jews from being yoked with those people who worshiped other gods and idols.

The same reason is essentially why we are told in 2 Corinthians not to be unequally yoked. It is for our Spiritual health, that we be yoked to someone who can help us in our Spiritual growth and who seeks after the same things we do.

Good post but incomplete. Many of these different races at the time were Nephilim. The offspring of fallen angels and human women. They were spawn of Satan and not even human. When one aligned himself/herself with them they were totally corrupted. Dig into it. You'll find it very fascinating. It will also answer many other questions. All of the peoples on this list were Nephilim giants. How many times do we read of marriages between Jews and one of these? And what was the result?
