Matt 7:13; “Enter through the narrow gate; for the gate is wide and the way is broad that leads to destruction, and there are many who enter through it.
Matt 7:14; For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.
Or is it just a few? They asked Jesus this very question, and this was His answer.
Luke 13:23; And someone said to Him, “Lord, are there just a few who are being saved?” And He said to them,
Luke 13:24; “Strive to enter through the narrow door; for many, I tell you, will seek to enter and will not be able.
Luke 13:25; Once the head of the house gets up and shuts the door, and you begin to stand outside and knock on the door, saying, ‘Lord, open up to us!’ then He will answer and say to you, ‘I do not know where you are from.’
Luke 13:26; Then you will begin to say, ‘We ate and drank in Your presence, and You taught in our streets’;
Luke 13:27; and He will say, ‘I tell you, I do not know where you are from; depart from Me, all you evildoers.’
MANY find the way to destruction...
FEW find the way to life... (this includes those who think they are Christians).
How many is a few? I don't know... but if the population of the earth is somewhere close to 7 billion.
10% might be considered a few... but that's still 70 million!!
So verses like Rev 7:9; could be taken as a lot of people... but compared to the population of the earth.. it will be few.
Keep in mind.. 10% is strictly a guess I'm throwing out there. I do not know the exact number.
6 In time, when men began to multiply on earth, and daughters were born to them, 2 the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were attractive; and they took wives for themselves, whomever they chose.
I've read estimates of how many people were alive when the flood came, the lowest figure I found after 10 minutes searching, about 200,000. Being probably very conservative by taking that number, 8 people represented 0.004% of all. Today that could hint that only 280,000 out of 7 billion would be found worthy of saving at the last opportunity. That's a sobering thought!
The text doesn't indicate all daughters of men were taken by the fallen angels, but we know some were, producing many "Conan the Barbarian" types raging across the land, vying for rulership, kings of violence, begetting giants. Imagine the violence then....
History will be repeated, imitating those wicked times in Gen 6, mostly the world simply thinking wickedly, without daughters taken by fallen angels (still locked up until the end of the 1,000 years of Jesus' reign), so without mighty men of renown. None of that would be worse than our future considering the decline in morality led by our government, if there is no significant revival. The days of Noah could be well underway, men declining normal relationships with daughters of men, men defiling men. It's far worse than Nephilim taking women, which is of course bad enough. The earth is filling with violence, with potential of violence multiplied many times due to the extreme population without Christ.
It's amazing all right. In my rambles around the net I've discovered that there is, most likely, a population of giants who run an average height of 18 to 20 feet tall alive today, and living in the south east portion of the globe. It was discovered by the soldiers of second world war when many soldiers of America and Japan were eaten. Obviously no scripture to back this one up. World scientists and military are trying to militarize the giant genome.
Steve Quayle is like the mother of modern day false prophets. A lot of this stuff sounds like direct quotes from him.
Wouldn't touch that guy with a ten and a half foot pole.
Steve Quayle is bad news bears.
He's not a false prophet for believing that fallen angels mated with human women in the pre-flood era, according to Genesis 6. Neither even necessarily for his claims about giants today. Those claims about giants of today are just shoddy research and bad scholarship is all, and not edifying to anyone. Especially given what all else he teaches.
Steve spreads ungodly fear, liken to ringworm in it's level of contagion, and his followers feed on it and spread it to others. Not too many years ago he made claims that certain seals of Revelation have been opened, and trumpets have been blown, and that we are well into the timeline of the end times and right on the edge of entering the Great Tribulation. He constantly promotes prophetic words of others who claim dates, times, and events, and the doom that will happen with regard to these, which never come to pass. He never even apologies when it doesn't even come close to coming to pass.
Steve constantly hypes about how gold and silver are your only insulation from the doom and destruction that are always immanently on our doorstep. How convenient that his business is centered around just that, precious metals. No bias there at all. Gold and silver aren't inherently bad to own, but Steve is a absolute fraud and loves to separate naive Christians from their money, especially 401k and retirement money.
Steve will cuss out and curse those who question or confront him. His character is shameful. His own family won't even have anything to do with all the nonsense he promotes. Even they know what a sham it all is.
I said he is not a heretic for believing angels mated with human women in genesis chapter 6, because that is the plain reading of the text. The Sethite theory is nonsensical.
Giants is not my issue with Quayle. His lack of scholarship regarding giants alive in today's world is symptomatic of many of his larger issues, namely a phenomenal lack of evidence for just about anything he says.
