From watching and learning from a 13 week christian DVD course called Freedom in Christ I learned all sorts of interesting facts about God, us, the devil, world, life, sin etc. The presenter Steve Goss bought this to my attention: Throughout the bible our race is referred to as sinners - this we know, and this we accept a fitting name to label ourselves, afterall, we all do sin.
He also mentions that throughout the bible people who have accepted Jesus Christ are referred to as a number of names all meaning in one way or another: saints - thats you and me!
He puts it like this, sometimes he burps, but that doesnt mean he goes around identifying himself as a burper! In that exact same way, we in Christ sometimes sin, but Ide definatly rather not be classed as a sinner, but a born again Saint. Who would of thought - me - a saint!
This is just another one of Jesus' easter eggs for us through the bible, something I can delight in. Hope you enjoyed it
