WE ARE IN GOD AND THE HOLY SPIRIT OF GOD IS IN US


The next Bible verses show that we are in GOD, and GOD is in us.
Jesus Christ said, I am in the Father (I dwell in GOD) and the Father is in me (the Holy Spirit of GOD is in my body).
The Bible says, We are in GOD (we dwell in GOD) and GOD is in us (the Holy Spirit of GOD is in our body).

Jesus Christ was “in GOD”, meaning, His Spirit/Soul dwelt in an earthen body that was/is the “palm of the hand of GOD”, just as our spirit/soul dwells in an earthen body, which also is the “palm of the hand of GOD”. And GOD is “in us” by the Spirit of the Son of GOD Jesus Christ being in us. This is because the Holy Spirit of GOD the Father and the Spirit of Jesus Christ the Son are together (one) because Jesus was conceived by the Holy Spirit of GOD the Father.

He who has seen Me (Jesus Christ) has seen the Father (John 14:9a).
Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? (John 14:10a)
(1a) When Jesus said, “I am in the Father”, He was saying, I (my spirit/soul) dwell in GOD the Father, Who “holds” me in my physical body, which is the “palm of His hand”.
(2a) By Jesus Christ saying, “the Father is in me”, He was saying, the Holy Spirit of GOD the Father was in His physical body with Him, because He was born of GOD after being conceived by the Holy Spirit of GOD.

Whoever confesses that Jesus is the Son of GOD, GOD dwells in him, and he (dwells) in GOD (1 John 4:15).
(1b) “GOD dwells in him” is saying, the Holy Spirit of GOD the Father in Jesus Christ is in our physical body with us; and
(2b) “he (dwells) in GOD” is saying, our spirit/soul dwells in GOD, because our earthen body is the “palm of the hand” of GOD the Father.

(1a) Jesus Christ was/is in GOD the Father, just as (2b) we are in GOD the Father, and
(2a) GOD the Father (Holy Spirit of GOD) was/is in Jesus Christ, as (1b) GOD the Father in Christ (Holy Spirit of GOD) is in us.

……..GOD was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself … (2 Corinthians 5:19a)

Not just new age. A very popular religion here in the US says Jesus was once a man who became a God, and you too can become a God of your own planet just like Jesus did.
(of course they don't consider him the creator of all the universe).

It is common belief that the Father is in Heaven, the Son is in Heaven too, and only the Spirit is within the believer. But this is really tritheism not Trinity, because the Person's of the Trinity are not separated like this.
But Jesus is the Spirit.. the Spirit of Christ and the Holy Spirit are one and the same Spirit:
2 Cor 3:17 Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.
and Jesus is the Father (Isaiah 9:6)...and Jesus is the Son.

Jesus is God - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Spirit. In Him dwells the Father, the Son and the Spirit, He is the fullness of the Godhead in human flesh: Col 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily

The complete Trinity dwells in the believer by the Spirit. The Spirit brings the Father and the Son, they are inseparable, three in one, and one in three.

It is a great mystery that in John 14:18-22 Jesus tells his disciples that he will be coming back to them in and as the Holy Spirit.

Jesus promises to come back to them as the comforter, the Holy Spirit:
"I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you."

Jesus will be invisible to the world, but his disciples will see Him and know Him in spirit:
"Before long, the world will not see me anymore, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live."

Knowing Jesus as the Spirit will help them realize that Christ is in them and they are in Christ:
"On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you."

Christ shows himself to the believers in an unseen, invisible way, as the Spirit:
Then Judas (not Judas Iscariot) said, "But, Lord, why do you intend to show yourself to us and not to the world?"

Jesus did not say that only the Son or the Spirit would live inside us.. but that the complete Trinity would make home in our hearts:
Jesus replied, "Anyone who loves me will obey my teaching. My Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.

Some bible commentaries have interpreted this to mean when Jesus comes back in the second coming.. but it cannot mean this because when Christ comes back all the world will see it, but it says in the verses that the world will not see Christ. This can only mean that Jesus is talking about His presence with the disciples as the comforter, as the Holy Spirit.

When we say "God became flesh" it means the complete Father, Son and Holy Spirit dwelt in the man Jesus Christ. And now the complete Father, Son and Holy Spirit also dwells in us, as the Spirit... we are His home (Jn 14:22), and He is our home.

When Jesus cried "My God, My God, why have you forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46), at this moment the presence of the Father left Him, and the Son died on the cross. This is how God the Father gave His only begotten Son to us (John 3:16).

Christ is now at the right hand of the Father in heaven in his resurrected and glorified body, and He is also with us as the Spirit. In his resurrected body He is limited and cannot be all places at once, but as the Spirit in us He can be in all places.
The church is the fullness of Christ who fills "all in all", because Christ dwells in all believers as the Spirit:
Ephesians 1:23 "which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all."

Realizing that Jesus was God the Father, Son and Spirit in the flesh, led doubting Thomas to proclaim "my Lord and my God!" (John 20:28).

Those who have the Spirit have the Son and the Father also. Those who know Jesus Christ have the complete Trinity. This is how the Father the Son and the Spirit can feel so close to us... not that we only have the Spirit and the Father and the Son are so far away in the Heavens above.
