I Am a Soldier
Author Unknown

I am a soldier in the army of God.
The Lord Jesus Christ is my Commanding Officer.
The Holy Bible is my code of conduct.
Faith, Prayer, and the Word are my weapons of Warfare.
I have been taught by the Holy Spirit, trained by experience, tried by adversity, and tested by fire.

I am a volunteer in this army, and I am enlisted for eternity.

I will either retire in this Army or die in this Army;
but, I will not get out, sell out, be talked out, or pushed out.
I am faithful, reliable, capable, and dependable.
If my God needs me, I am there.

I am a soldier. I am not a baby.
I do not need to be pampered, petted, primed up,
pumped up, picked up, or pepped up.
I am a soldier. No one has to call me, remind me, write me, visit me, entice me, or lure me.

I am a soldier. I am not a wimp.
I am in place, saluting my King, obeying His orders,
praising His name, and building His kingdom!
No one has to send me flowers, gifts, food, cards, candy, or give me handouts.
I do not need to be cuddled, cradled, cared for, or catered to.
I am committed. I cannot have my feelings hurt bad enough to turn me around.

I cannot be discouraged enough to turn me aside.
I cannot lose enough to cause me to quit.
When Jesus called me into this Army, I had nothing.
If I end up with nothing, I will still come out even. I will win.
My God will supply all my needs. I am more than a conqueror.
I will always triumph. I can do all things through Christ.
Devils cannot defeat me. People cannot disillusion me.
Weather cannot weary me. Sickness cannot stop me.
Battles cannot beat me. Money cannot buy me.
Governments cannot silence me, and hell cannot handle me!

I am a soldier.
Even death cannot destroy me.
For when my Commander calls me from this battlefield,
He will promote me to a captain.
I am a soldier, in the Army, I'm marching, claiming victory.
I will not give up. I will not turn around. I am a soldier, marching Heaven bound.

There are four kinds of soldiers:
1. Active Duty: Serving the Lord faithfully, daily, and on duty 24-7-365.
2. Reserve Status: Serving only when called upon,
or twice a year: Christmas and Easter.
3. Guard Status: Backing up the Active Duty group.
4. AWOL! Absent With Out the Lord.

Which kind are you? Be an army of one for an audience of One.

I am committed.

AMEN! Let me tell you there is no power on earth that can defeat a made up mind. No power...

That is why Job could say "Tho God slay me, yet will I trust Him."

The Key:

Bringing every thought into submission to Christ. You might say but... but... but...Coconut you dont know how hard it is...you dont know what i`m going thru.

I`ll tell you what I do KNOW...the hardest thing you`ll ever do is make up your mind to serve God...then God takes over...

He provides your uniform (PUT ON CHRIST)...Hes driving your Jeep...Hes digging your foxholes...Hes standing on the front lines...Hes keeping you fed...Hes giving you rest...and when the battles over, Hes taking you safely home...no soldier has ever had such a walk of glory as the one that awaits you...

Now tell me how hard it is to be on the Lords side?

2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:
2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Mat 11:9 Really, what did you go out to see? A prophet? Yes, I tell you, and even more than a prophet!
This is the man about whom it is written, 'See, I am sending my messenger ahead of you, who will prepare your way before you.'
Truly I tell you, among those born of women no one has appeared who is greater than John the Baptist. Yet even the least important person in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
"From the days of John the Baptist until the present, the kingdom of heaven has been forcefully advancing...

There is truly no God like our God. There is no army like His army.
That should make you want to shout VICTORY...His name should be utmost on your mind, and on your lips...His glory should fill your heart so full it wants to burst...You should be holding HIS banner high in the battlefield...the battle will soon be over!

Rev 11:15 When the seventh angel blew his trumpet, there were loud voices in heaven, saying, "The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of his Christ, and he will rule forever and ever."
