Walk in the rain of blessings

I thought about this when I was from a friend`s place and it started raining on me. Rain symbolises blessings in the bible and this poem is about blessings God has for every child of his

I walked out of my friend`s house
Ready to be off home
And all I could see up the sky were dark clouds
And flashes of on coming violent storm
I was so scared
I couldn`t see myself going anywhere anymore
Not even a clue of how I was going to get there .....because of the rain
It was all dark!
But one definite thing I knew and hold on to was my hope which does not disappoint
Rom 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given5 unto us...
And in thy hope I walked into the promising rain
The devil tried to scare me but I knew my Fathers`s hand was not shortened that it could not save me(Isaiah59:1)
Yes the devil is a toothless liar

I started running home, scared though
The devil still wanted me to give in
But I knew the hope I hold unto could neither be snatched from me nor disappoint me
My God is a living God, ever amazing
Yes I stepped in and started rushing home
The rains came but not as violent as the devil was trying to show me
Yes he who is in us is greater than thee in the world and we are more than conquerors

Have you ever heard a voice speaking to you
Telling you that you can`t walk in that rain of blessings God has in store for you
The voice that always tries to crush the hope in you
Telling you that you are too weak to walk in those blessings God wants to shower on you
That voice wants to make you not live the life you were called for
Speak right in front of him that no weapon of you the devil shall prosper
Not even your ideas will work on me, I won`t accept them
You are a liar and the father of lies
Tell him straight that I will walk in the rain because my Father is ready to shower those blessings on me


So many children of God are living the life not worth their calling
Fear grips them
They are living in fear because the devil is showing the what`s not real
But the word of God says in 1John 4:18: There is no fear in love but perfect love casteth out fear because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
Learn to trust God in all circumstances
Let his will be done in you, not anybody`s will be only his
Nothing is too hard for him and he is right by your side
Jer 23:24 Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD and not a God afar off?
Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the LORD.Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the LORD.
Live a life worth your calling
That darkness is not for real, Our Father`s light shines even in the dark
Those voices of negativity are not true , they are toothless and powerless to the children of God
Take one ,two ,three major steps and you will be celebrating in the rain
Rain of blessings waiting to be showered on you
Give yourself time to listen
Listen to the voice of the truth the voice of our saviour Jesus Christ
And no weapon that will be risen against you shall prosper
All strongholds of the devil will be demolished
2Co 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh
2Co 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds
2Co 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

Look up the sky children of God, the clouds are building up for you
Don`t be scared of them,
Don`t feel unprepared to receive the rains of blessings
This is what you have been asking in prayer
And patiently waiting for
Trust God and do good
And walk in the rain that he is ready to pour on you
Trust only him our saviour
And walk in in the rain of blessings
