Proverbs 12:25) Anxiety in a man's heart weighs it down, But a good word makes it glad.
Every person experiences feelings in a various range of circumstances. This is true for both believers and non-believers alike. Our lives are not always tranquil, but rather are subject to tempests and storms that can affect not only our external circumstances, but also our minds. How often can trials pierce our heart, leaving us flooded with sadness, sorrow, disappointment, frustration, and other harmful sentiments that can linger in the heart. We are capable of of combating these negative feelings by deliberately focusing on encouraging truths that God has given us. In the midst of our troubles, we know God allows them to refine us. In the midst of conflicts, there is hope in God for restoration and change. Let us in time of need think on scripture and truth that will be as light in the darkness and water to hydrate our spirits. In Christ, we have all promises as yes, fellowship with our Father, who is rich in compassion; and a host of truths that are capable of liberating us from all chains of negative feeling and thinking that can plague the heart.
