Two Categories of Special Immigrant Religious Workers to Expire on October 1
September 19, 2008

It’s like a reminder from the USCIS for all its customers that authorization for the non-minister special immigrant religious worker program will expire on Oct. 1, 2008. The USCIS even said that the individuals applying to serve in the two non-minister categories of the program must either adjust their Status to permanent residence or apply for, and be admitted with, an immigrant visa before Oct. 1, 2008. The two expiring categories are special immigrant religious workers in professional or non-professional capacities within a religious vocation or occupation. The expiration date also applies to the accompanying spouses and children of these workers. Special immigrant religious workers entering the United States solely to carry on the vocation of a minister of a religious denomination are not impacted by the expiration date.

Well, before I pray that some law is canceled. Lets get this in perspective.

Look what rizen1 has posted and jskm has posted. God has a wealthy place for you..

Rom 13:1 Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.

God is in control of those that made the Law. Even if they won't admit it.

1Ti 2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;
1Ti 2:2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

I am going to assume that you have not been praying for them, because you would know the outcome of this situation already.

I see a lot of anxiety and fear in your post. Taking thought (Matt 6) or thinking on negative things.

Php 4:6 Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition ( definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God.

Php 4:7 And God's peace [shall be yours, that [c] tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall [d] garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.

Php 4:8 For the rest, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable and seemly, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely and lovable, whatever is kind and winsome and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think on and weigh and take account of these things [fix your minds on them]. Getting worked up over this and admitting that you will not have the money, is a sure way to stop anything God would like to do for you.

Look at Issac, He was going to the land of Egypt because of the poverty in the land he was in. The Philistines party was in charge at that time (Far worse then we have now.) and God told him to stay. So, Issac Stayed in that poverty stricken land.

Gen 26:12 Then Isaac sowed in that land, and received in the same year a hundredfold: and the LORD blessed him.

It does not matter where you have to go, or even if you do have to go.
God is more than able to supply your need. Don't get focused on this problem. The laws that are passed have nothing to do with your provision. God has a place for you to be, and a will to follow. Trust in God that you are going to end up at the right place in the right time, and be blessed!!!!
Pray for those that are going to uphold that law, Get in peace, and get focused on What God can do, not what you think just might happen.

I don't mean to sound hard, but stand up and declare that Your God will more than meet every need, move anything that he has to, and that the money is coming. Be an example to those around you that are afraid....Now watch what God can do with someone that will believe him. Never let go of this.................Look at the patience of Joesph, look what he ended up with.
