The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace. Psalm 29:11 KJV
Unshakable. If this word could describe anyone completely, it would be God. You can stand unshakable in His protection, but God doesn’t need to rely on anyone or anything to exist without doubt, fear, and anxiety.
From His place of unshakable glory, God offers His family peace, strength, and blessing. A weak and disturbable god could not do that. He wouldn’t be at peace, so He couldn’t offer peace. His strength would be in question, so few would attempt to rely on it. His blessings would be meaningless.
If you’ve ever wondered why God needs to be incomparable in every category, look at it this way: It has everything to do with His ability to meet your needs. If you want to live an unshakable life, you must connect with an unshakable God. You will need to trust in a powerful God who loves you and has a future for you. Only then can you live fearlessly, unmoved by circumstances that challenge your willingness to stand strong.
Prayer: Father, when You are challenged, You win. When bad things happen, You aren’t surprised and never run away. You know what happens next, so the mess that may seem to be my present doesn’t look like Your future for me. Help me stay close to You—God unshakable.
