yesterday we had this class Human Behavior in Organization and our professor told this story about a turtle family.

The turtle family have not had any vacation for a long time, so they stated planning... which took 6 years, after that it took them 6 months to pack their stuff, 2 years they look for a place to have thier picnic, when they finally found one,it again took them 6 months to unpacked their stuff, only to find out that they left the salt! And a picnic w/o a salt is not a picnic at all, so they argue for 7 months who's gonna go back and fetch the salt... finally they decided that the youngest turtle should, he refuses and agrue again for 3 months, until, he decided to go, in one condition.... no one will eat until he comes back. They talk about it for 2 months and then agreed. 7 years has passed and there is no sign of the youngest turtle coming back with the salt. The oldest turtle cannot withstand it anymore, he decided to bite a sandwich... in his surprise the youngest turtle poped out of the bushes and said "see, i knew u wouldnt wait for me."

yeah, wel there's actually a lesson in it too. Most of us only care of what others would do, we keep watching them and wait for their mistake, so we can criticize them, but then we don't see ourselves.
