Tsunami disaster

Please people of God,

if you read this post, please take some time to pray for the victims of that horrible Earthquake/Tsunami in Asia. I can't begin to imagine the terror it was and is. Issues that come to mind include:

-the missing

-the mourning and sorrowful. It is estimated that over 40,000 people have died, many children and also a great number of foreigners.

-the spread of disease due to the thousands dead and therefore decomposing

-the lack of drinking water and food

-the devastation

-the crime:e.g. increased looting due to people being hungry. One man said that he is starving to death

-those that don't know Christ, our comfort and shelter

Please, grab an issue and pray if you can.

On the side of the site here at Talk Jesus, there is a CD entitled, At The Hillside. Every CD that is purchased at $6.95 will go to the Tsunami relief!

The band is already sending proceeds from The Indonesian Baptist Church in South San Francisco, California to the Tsunami relief! The project pays for shipping of the CD which is allocated from another fund and not from the proceeds of the CD. To date, July 11, 2005, 167,000 up to 221,000 brothers and sisters have perished in this disaster and we are sending what funds there are immediately at this writing to contacts in Sri-Lanka, Thailand, Indonesia, and through out Asia for food and blankets. Please pray for God's leading and hope you can participate.
