"The trial of your faith."—1 Peter 1:7.

Faith untried may be true faith, but it is sure to be little faith, and it is likely to remain dwarfish so long as it is without trials. Faith never prospers so well as when all things are against her: tempests are her trainers, and lightnings are her illuminators. When a calm reigns on the sea, spread the sails as you will, the ship moves not to its harbour; for on a slumbering ocean the keel sleeps too. Let the winds rush howling forth, and let the waters lift up themselves, then, though the vessel may rock, and her deck may be washed with waves, and her mast may creak under the pressure of the full and swelling sail, it is then that she makes headway towards her desired haven. No flowers wear so lovely a blue as those which grow at the foot of the frozen glacier; no stars gleam so brightly as those which glisten in the polar sky; no water tastes so sweet as that which springs amid the desert sand; and no faith is so precious as that which lives and triumphs in adversity.

Tried faith brings experience. You could not have believed your own weakness had you not been compelled to pass through the rivers; and you would never have known God's strength had you not been supported amid the water-floods. Faith increases in solidity, assurance, and intensity, the more it is exercised with tribulation. Faith is precious, and its trial is precious too.

Let not this, however, discourage those who are young in faith. You will have trials enough without seeking them: the full portion will be measured out to you in due season. Meanwhile, if you cannot yet claim the result of long experience, thank God for what grace you have; praise Him for that degree of holy confidence whereunto you have attained: walk according to that rule, and you shall yet have more and more of the blessing of God, till your faith shall remove mountains and conquer impossibilities.

Hmmm? "untried faith"?

"But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?" James 2:20

"Ye see then how that by works a man is justified, and not by faith only." James 2:24

The Lord spoke to me this saying years ago, and I have never forgotten it. He said....

"It is possible for a man to have faith without works, but it is impossible for a man to have faith without works"

Any body can say they have "faith", but the true test to see if it is "real" is it will have "works" connected to it. The "work" faith does, does NOT come from the person, but from God who works on behalf of the man who has faith!!!! The man who says he has faith, and yet God is doing nothing through him, this man only has mental faith which produces nothing (no works).

All faith will be tested to see what sort it is, which is why James says......

James 1:2 My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;
James 1:3 Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.
James 1:4 But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.

That's a big call (To have God yapping to you) Do you ever walk away with knowledge that can further the cause against many of our global predicaments?

What ever the Lord may say to anyone, it will always be in line with the Word already written down in scripture. Speaking words was how the world was created by God. We being his children are to walk, and talk how he did since we are to "imitate" our Father. The Bible tells us that what we say out of our mouth is what causes this world to become.

James 3:6 The tongue also is a fire. The tongue is the most evil part of the body. It pollutes the whole person. It sets a person's whole way of life on fire. And the tongue is set on fire by hell. (NiRV)

What I have spoken in the past with my tongue, I am experiencing today in my life, and what I am speaking today, I will experience in the future. The problem is there are a lot more wicked people in this world speaking evil things then there are good speaking good things.

Jesus told us to "pray his Kingdom come, his will be done on earth as it is in Heaven" This will happen, but it will not come on it's own, it will come because we pray it to come through words.
