To whom does the worship belong?

I have heard many worship songs in my life that include the worship of Jesus, or worshipping the lamb of God however, was not Jesus sent to reconcile us with the Father.

And before replying please understand that I am fully aware of the deity of Jesus...
Colossians 2:9-10
9For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
10And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

and of course...
John 14:9
Jesus saith unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet hast thou not known me, Philip? he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Show us the Father?

If it is indeed the case that we should worship Jesus, then why is it also not common to worship the Holy Ghost?

When you worship One...your worshiping them All.

We worship God the Father thru Jesus the Son in the power of the Holy Spirit.

Even Jesus worshiped the Father. Hallowed be thy name, and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven............

It is one and the same, but through Jesus we worship the Father. Jesus is the savior, the kind one, the one of compassion and he shows us the way of respect.

A message that God gave me to share was "It is not about who leads us in worship (speaking about church services), but who leads us TO worship.
The fact that Jesus died on the cross to rescue us from our sins, He is the one who deserves all of our worship and all of our praise. He took everything that we should have had to suffer, and placed it on himself!

Re 14:6 ¶ And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,
7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

The above is a last days message .... it is the eternal gospel which is to be preached to everyone.... it calls us to worship our Creator....

Coll. 1:12 ¶ Giving thanks unto the Father, which hath made us meet to be partakers of the inheritance of the saints in light:
13 Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son:
14 In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
15 Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature:
16 For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him:
17 And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.
18 And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence.

He came to reconcile us to the Father. it only makes sense that we worship the Father in that capacity. Jesus is the Father of course but Jesus stands on the right hand of power. Of course the bible speaks plainly that these are the mysteries of God and will become plain to us when we can know even as also we are known. 1 Cor. 13

But God is the Creator, the top banana. As one is the same as the other, just in different spirit, worship to either is fine. But it all boils down to there is one and only one.

Debate about some things only leads to confusion. I like to be careful with that kind of thing as new folks do become confused when there is no reason for confusion.

Jesus told us how to pray, who to honor. Jesus called out to the Father on the Cross. Even as Christ he relied upon the Father.

Respect to one part of the trinity is respect to all. So debate about who to worship is a confusion factor. It all leads to the one and only and that is God himself. God was before all, and if the spirits of God were always, or created, we will only know as it is said, one day all will be revealed.

I wholeheartedly agree with you, that we should not waste time arguing over things that do not affect salvation and the Holy Ghost is alive and well leading us into all truth.

It was just something that I had been wondering about and wanted to see what other believers thought.
