I know I'm not around when you work the hardest of your day.
Our children just keep growing in a wild kind of way.
When I come from work I see the look upon your face,
That says you need a break from that quick and stressful pace.
Although I'm just as tired as you and really want to rest,
I feel your pain, see the worried look and give to you my best.
My love for you and all you do for our children stands alone,
I try to keep them quiet and from the peaceful mommy zone.
I know the work that you do is the way you give your love,
It is warm and surrounding and fits them like a glove.
No other could ever fill the shoes that you wear,
Even though the children are turning gray your hair.
I love you in the morning and the day and night too!
I love you for your blessedness and all I put you through.
For you are very special and in my heart forever,
I will hold you, sing to you and let you go, never.
When we are old and wrinkled up together
I will remember that sweet simple fraise,
What was that you said?
Oh, yeah! Whatever!
I love You.
