I smiled
I laughed
I was happy
And He took my hand to dance again

I cried
I wailed
I was grieved
And He took my hand to dance again

I shouted
I blamed
I was enraged
And He took my hand to dance again

I hid
I cowered
I was ashamed
And He took my hand to dance again

I waited
I hoped
I was broken
And He took my hand to dance again

I searched
I was lost
I was so afraid
And He took my hand to dance again

I twirled
I sang
I was overjoyed
And He took my hand to dance again
