To All Posting Members Of Talk Jesus.
There seems to be a few members that have posted on my threads that seem to be possibly misunderstanding the points of my topics.
So I thought id make myself clear on a few key points.
1st off I post topics to arouse debate.
2nd nothing is posted as a topic that intended to make one person seem right and another wrong.
( we all have different views on different subjects )
3rd and finale note. I do not claim on any of my topics to be correct and therefore looking at my topics should at best just evoke ’healthy debate’ that hopefully will have all the people posting on any of my topics openly questioning to topic subject , and therefore looking at subjects with a open mind and maybe learning from each other.
If we debate issues we can all learn from each other. Without debate there is no conversation and without that there is no learning curve and ultimately no reason to post at all.

I hope the above is worded correctly and you all get what I am trying to say.

Nothing is wrong with having discussions, but debates are not allowed. I've seen in the past people getting hurt .

It is healthy to conversate, but the motivation behind it should be directing others to Jesus. Everything must line up with the bible.

With debates Pride shows its ugly face, then we have a tennis game of I'm right your wrong.

Its always important to pray before posting. And if you feel there is a break down of communication its good to address it.
I was away for some time so I'm not familiar with your threads.
I'll take a look.

Quick note...sometimes people won't understand what we're trying to say. In those cases I just drop the matter. I've tried giving my input on something, I may have facts to back it up but it does not mean everyone will agree with me. If people are led by emotions their responses are never rational.
Dropping a matter for peace sake is better....I love bringing up odd topics to tickle the brain, but if its going to cause an agruement its not worth it.

I agree with this 100%.

Sky, arguments are healthy in my opinion. They are the verbal path for determining truth.

My question is what is your intent? Is it truth or is it to play devil's advocate? I personally sense you want to play devil's advocate. Pride will only result from that type of arguing. When truth is whole-heartedly being sought out, then arguing is ok.

We do not need anyone to invoke intellectual debate to improve our spiritual states. That is what the Spirit is for and His Word.

members join Talk Jesus to fellowship and enjoy talking about the Lord and His love.

Just as in person to person fellowship, where believers get together to praise the King, to share the wonderful things He has done in our daily lives, to worship Him in songs and prayer, to share His love amongst each other, with each other as one body, and are not gathered to debate anything and everything, Talk Jesus is a place, online, where people from around the world can do the same thing.

I realise you might be able to find faults and you might not appreciate the love of God in your life as others here do, but members who join, do so at their own choice and are happy to be members.

Why, when you can join with people from all over the world to fellowship in His love would you want to raise vain debates in the light and glory of the LORD?

You are welcome here, as all are, but please don't mock those who come in peace to exalt their Lord who gave Himself for them.

And, yes, you will be banned if you continue in this way. Rules are rules and if you want to ignore them that is your choice, but the rules stand.

The great thing about this website are the rules, if you try to post on other forums you'll notice the difference, but here, there is respect and agreement to discuss nothing unless it is for the glory of God, it is not a place for debates, there is no use to prove the existence of the Sun when it shines so strong.
