Titus 3:1-2 King James Version (KJV)
3 Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,
2 To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men.

Titus 3:1-2 Good News Translation (GNT)
Christian Conduct

3 Remind your people to submit to rulers and authorities, to obey them, and to be ready to do good in every way. 2 Tell them not to speak evil of anyone, but to be peaceful and friendly, and always to show a gentle attitude toward everyone.

These are my thoughts, please share yours.

1 We should be obedient to those over us but never so to where we do wrong. We are not to live without authority. Many people may have used being Christian as an accuse not to listen to leaders of the world but this scripture says we should, this isn’t saying that we shouldn’t pray for them or try to have Christian leaders because we should but we are to let them lead because God let them into the position but we are never to let them cause us to sin against God. God should our first authority.

2 We should not talk bad about others. Everything we say about them should be up lifiting or point them to the Lord. We are not to tear down others. We are to avoid any strife sometimes this cant be done because people will hate us because of the account of Jesus. We are to be gentle but have a boldness in Jesus.
