1. Embrace the cross.
Mat 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.
It seems the trend in church today is focused more and more about what folks can get from God. While we are exhorted to forget not His benefits (blessings Psa 103:2)it has never been the primary objective of the church to do so. Giving to get more back is a sign of either insincerity or immaturity: Until we begin to let go of the fleshly things of this world , seek His will above all we will never really know both the true power of God and the real blessing He has for us which is His perfect will for our lives.
Many blessings in His wonderful Name,
your brother Larry.
Psa 62:5 My soul, wait thou only upon God; for my expectation is from him.
Psa 62:6 He only is my rock and my salvation: he is my defence; I shall not be moved.
