Ok, so when 12th graders get bored, they do some crazy things sometimes. But what I did was... really odd, if I do say so myself. What I did was try to understand how the spiritual realm and the physical realm interact with each other. In doing this, I devised four basic laws. I am not trying to say that these laws are absolutes, rather I'm just sharing how I used some of my time at school. These laws are as followed, with examples in italics. Keep in mind that anything spiritual is like the Lord, or a saint who has come home, a physical object is just a physical object, like a book or pillow, and a sub-spiritual object is a mix of the two, such as a soul who has not departed from the body.
1. Sub-spiritual and spiritual data can interact with any other kind of data they wish, though they don't necessarily control the final outcome.
A human soul is considered sub-spiritual because though it is a spiritual being, it resides in a very physical being, the human body. The first law is much like when a person prays to the Lord for a need, such as the healing of a disease or a new house. The person can chose to pray and what to pray for, but they do not necessarily chose the outcome. Sometimes a prayer request is answered, but sometimes it's not. A prime example of the first law at work is when to people pray for a new house, and only one get's the new house. Both made a prayer request, however one didn't get their prayer answered. Their could be numerous reasons why this happened, however, unless bigger understanding of the situation is understood, it is unclear why one prayer request was unanswered. Perhaps God knew it was not in the best interest to grant a new house to the one who didn't get one, or perhaps God tested the person who didn't get the house and that person failed the test. Other reasons exist.
2. When a spiritual or sub-spiritual object transforms into a physical object, it first travels faster than the speed of light, then slows down, temperately becoming light before manifesting into a physical being, likewise, a physical being transforms into light before transforming into a spiritual being.
This is a hypothetical theory of what would happen of an angle made a physical apprentice on the earth, or what would happen if a scenario where a person was taken up during a rapture-like event. While possible, the theory it-self is not without questionably. A similar scenario could occur if a human was to survive falling into a black hole in space if the human survived the event horizon.
3. Physical data can interact with physical data, and occasionally sub-spiritual data.
Physical data can react with other physical data. Touch a parcel of paper with fire and a physical reaction occurs. However, physical data cannot always react with sub-spiritual data. For example, the soul can have the hand throw an object, and unless the hand is disabled, tethered to something, or otherwise blocked, the person would throw the ball. While the brain commands the hand muscles, it is estimated the soul actually commands the brain what to do outside of common involuntary actions, such as breathing and the beating of the heart.
4. Physical data cannot react with the spiritual or the sub-spiritual without a spiritual or sub-spiritual reaction.
Physical data cannot active react with a spiritual or spiritual entity with out a spiritual or sub-spiritual reaction. A pillow cannot pray to the Lord, yet a human can.
